Chris Callbeck joined the University of New Brunswick in 1993, and currently holds the position of Assistant
Vice President, Financial & Administrative Services for the Saint John campus.
His management portfolio includes financial services, human resources, residence & conference services,
environmental health, safety and security, facilities management, capital planning, and bookstores. Chris is a
member of the Board of Governors, and various board committees, including, finance, audit, and properties
committees. He is a Board of Trustee for the Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers Pension
Fund. He served as a member of the CRKN Finance and Audit Committee before becoming a member of its
Board of Directors.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Acadia University, is a Chartered
Accountant and has earned a Certificate in University Management, through the University of Manitoba.
Previous to his position at UNB, Chris was employed with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse
Coopers).
