6G Wang Yan Yan An Unforgettable Day I took part in the Junior Go Competition in October 2013. I practised the skills very hard whenever I had free time at home. I was confident that day. At the beginning of the competition, everything went well. However, when the second round of the competition began, my competitor was a young lady. I got a shock when she sat down slowly. I thought that I would definitely lose this time as her skills should be far better than mine. I really didn’t know how my mind could work as normal. More and more points were gained by her. After a while, she suddenly became careless, my mind geared up and I started to gain some points back. Then I tried my best to be as careful as possible. Even though I still lost the round, the points between her and I were indeed very close to only within ten points. Finally, I was awarded second-runner-up at this Junior Go Competition. In fact, I learnt that skills are important but fear can make our mind get lost. Therefore, we have to calm ourselves down when we are nervous. 6G Yuen Gei Lap Patrick My Summer Holiday Malaysia, the place I went to this summer holiday. On a Friday in July 2013, my dad went to the airport with me and my mum. I was overjoyed at that time. We took the plane at nine o’clock at night and set off to Malaysia. We were going with my dad’s friends. When we got there, it was 2:00am already. I nearly fell asleep while I was in the car which took us to my dad’s friend’s house. When I arrived at the house, I slumped on the bed asleep. The next day when I woke up, it was 9:00am already. I was very hungry so I went downstairs for breakfast. It was Malaysian style lotus leaf rice! I liked it very much. After that, we had nothing to do and just sat on the sofa watching TV. I was bored! Finally, we set off at 11:00am and ate an amazing lunch - prawn noodles, crispy and yummy. Also, we visited the Twin Towers, the famous building in Kuala Lumpur. The next day I woke up early at 7:00am. As I and the others would be going to the durian hills! I love durians, they are my favourite! In the afternoon, we went to the French Village and the Japanese Village for a look. We just wanted to find a place to go, but not home. The third day was a very exciting day. I went to Genting! I went on a lot of rides, such as the roller coaster and the merry-go-round. I loved one of the roller coasters most, so I went on it three times. It was a lot of fun! On the fourth day I did nothing. I expect you will ask why. It was because I was sick! The doctor said I had food poisoning. I had to rest for one day. Luckily the next day I got better and eventually recovered! I played many games in the hotel, (I forgot to say that we stayed at a hotel on the fourth day) such as table tennis, Segway and cycling. I was fully charged and ready for the next day. It was the most exciting day! I went to the Sunway Nagoon and played many kinds of water games. They were very exciting, but we couldn’t stay longer. It was the last day! We had to leave the next day! Bye! This was the most unforgettable trip for me. From the first day to the sixth day, I was so excited except when I was sick. I hope I can go again during the next summer holiday.
