Full Time Industrial Engineer - Walt Disney World Resort Want to be part of a world-class organization? The Industrial Engineering teams at Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort provide analytical decision-making support to executive management and operations. They handle multiple project assignments on an ongoing basis that contribute to improvements in Guest Satisfaction, Cast Excellence and/or operational/financial results. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and productivity/process improvements • Ensure that the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects • Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of Cast and management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent (minimum 3.0 GPA) • Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment and with pertinent software such as Excel (advanced level), Access, MS PowerPoint, etc. • Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability and passion for product and for providing high value project work • Demonstrated initiative and drive • Demonstrated ability to apply Industrial Engineering skills, tools and methodologies to project work, inclusive but not limited to capacity/demand analysis, statistical analysis, and OR techniques (e.g., linear programming, simulation, queuing logic, etc.) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Industrial Engineering work experience, including co-ops/internship • Master’s and/or Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent (minimum 3.0 GPA) • Demonstrated strong partnering skills • Proven strategic thinking skills Proof of eligibility for full-time employment within the United States on a permanent basis is required. • • E-mail resume and cover letter to wdpr.industrial.engineering@disney.com Submit an online application at www.disneycareers.com; Requisition ID #128863BR For more info about Disney IE, visit: http://www.iienet2.org/media/disney/flowplayer.htm Drawing Creativity From Diversity –EOE
