St. David’s School is an independent, coeducational, Episcopal, college preparatory day school for students in
grades PK-12. Fully accredited and with a low student/teacher ratio, the school seeks to prepare young men and
women for college and life by providing challenging opportunities to excel in the vital areas of faith, virtue, and
knowledge. Located on 15 wooded acres in suburban Raleigh, the capital city of North Carolina and one of the
three cities that comprise the Research Triangle, the school draws students from Raleigh, Durham, and
surrounding communities. The area is home to approximately 1.8 million people, and contains Duke University,
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University and six small colleges.

• Seniors take Senior Seminar, a rigorous examination of the distinctions between different moral frameworks

Independent schools (since 2005)
• Seniors may take Independent Study courses with the approval of the Principal and a faculty sponsor
