Earl Johnson II Earl is the son of retired Major Earl and Brenda Johnson, and was born in Ruislip, Great Britain on April 17, 1970. He grew up as an Air Force military dependent living in a number of states before finally graduating from Mountain Home High School, Idaho. Just six days after graduating high school Earl joined the United States Air Force and served as an Airfield Manager for the next 22 years before retiring honorably at the rank of Master Sergeant from Langley AFB, Hampton, Virginia on July 1, 2011. Earl is married to Demetria Johnson and they have four children Kristyn, Alisha, Antonio, and Ava. A few notable accomplishments for Earl during his time at Langley AFB are he was selected as the 1st Fighter Wing’s Non Commissioned Officer of the Year 2007; Langley AFB, VA. In 2008 he was selected the Lance P. Sijan award winner his outstanding leadership skills and awarded the 9th Air Force Croix de Valeur for his contributions to the Air Force as an enlisted non-flyer. Earl has an Associate’s Degree in Airport Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. He is currently working on his MBA at Saint Leo University. Since retiring, Earl served as an AmeriCorps Navigator at the Volunteer Center of the Virginia Peninsula. After completion of his AmeriCorps term, he worked as a Marketing/Public Affairs associate with the Volunteer Center and helped match qualified volunteers with veterans and vulnerable senior citizens helping to ensure independent lifestyles for those in need.
