Introduction
This document is comprised of: (i) Your Intermediation Services Contract with Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. , and (ii) a copy of the group
insurance policy entered into between Europ Assistance España S.A. de Seguros y Reaseguros (“the Insurer”) and Vacaciones eDreams,
S.L., including the Schedule and the General Conditions (hereinafter the “Policy”).
Please read this document carefully. It sets out:
•
Your Intermediation Services Contract with Vacaciones eDreams, S.L.: –the terms and conditions of Your agreement with Vacaciones
eDreams, S.L. for introducing You to the Insurer as set out in the Vacaciones eDreams, S.L.
•
A copy of the Policy entered into by the Insurer and Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. to which you are adhering which specifies the cover that
the Insurer will provide to you
Intermediation services contract with the Vacaciones eDreams, S.L.
During the term of the insurance, as described below, Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. will:
•
Act as Your intermediary (under the connected contracts exemption in local legislation) of the Policy by introducing You to the Insurer
and its product;
•
Act as intermediary in connection with the making of Your Policy with the Insurer;
•
Collect payments due from You and pay the Premium to the Insurer on Your behalf.
As the intermediary, Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. will not make a recommendation to You about the product, but will inform You of its
availability.
While carrying out said services, Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. will comply with applicable laws on Insurance Mediation Services.
When you are adhered to the Policy, You accept to pay Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. the fee for introducing You to the Insurer. Vacaciones
eDreams, S.L.’s Intermediation Services Contract with You is fulfilled when You are adhered to the Policy.
The insurance policy with the insurer
This Insurance Policy is a copy of the group insurance policy issued by the Insurer to the Policyholder named in the Schedule below. Once
You have chosen the insurance offered and paid the applicable Premium, the terms of this Policy will apply to You as an Insured as defined
in the Policy (and to all other persons insured under this Policy).
Your payment
When You purchase travel insurance by being included in and covered by the Policy, Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. will collect a payment from
You made up of Your payment due for the services provided to You under your Intermediation Services Contract with Vacaciones eDreams,
S.L. as well as of Your Premium payment due for the provision of insurance cover by Europ Assistance provided to You under the Policy.
The Premium is disclosed to You at the point of sale. The fee for the services provided to You under your Intermediation Services Contract
with Vacaciones eDreams, S.L. will amount to the difference between the Premium and Your total payment.

Cancellation
Up to the cost of the Trip (but not exceeding EUR5,000 per insured and Claim and EUR50,000 in total
per reservation/purchase. (Excess applies of between 10% and 20% of Trip price excluding taxes,
dependent on cause, and EUR15 per leg per trip on short and medium range flights where itemised
invoices detailing taxes are not supplied).
Missed flights
Up to 50% of Initial Trip price excluding taxes subject to a maximum of EUR5,000 per Insured and
Claim and a maximum limit of EUR25,000 for the same reservation/purchase.
Breach on the part of the airline and/or airport
Up to the corresponding limit with a maximum of EUR5,000 per Insured and Claim and EUR25,000 for
the same reservation/purchase shall be reimbursed. (An Excess of EUR30 per each and every Insured
included in the same reservation/purchase).
Flight delay
As from 4 hours after the initial Flight Departure Time, EUR30 per each two hours of delay thereafter
and a maximum limit of EUR150 in total.

Insurance Policy Schedule
This Policy is comprised of the Schedule and the General Conditions.
In the event of contradiction or doubt, this Schedule shall prevail over that which is set forth in the General Conditions of the Policy.

TERM OF THE INSURANCE AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE
The coverage shall be valid worldwide but it shall be limited to the territorial scope corresponding to the contracted Trip.
For the Insured:

The cancellation coverage starts when the Trip was booked or when the
insurance was purchased (whichever is later) and ends when the Insured
commences the Trip.
Missed Flight Coverage, Breach on the Part of the
Airline and/or Airport Coverage and Flight Delay
Coverage
The coverage commences when the Trip starts and is valid to travel directly to,
directly from and within the destination countries that appear in the Trip booking
and any European Union country to which the customer travels inside of the
period of the Trip.
2.
APPLICABLE GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Policy is subject to Spanish law and is governed by Law 50/1980, dated 8th October, on Insurance Contract, and by Royal
Legislative Decree 6/2004, dated 29th October, by means of which the Revised Text of the Law of Rule and Supervision for Private
Insurance was approved, and by Royal Decree no. 2486/1998 dated 20th November, which approves the Regulations on Rule and
Supervision for Private Insurance and by Law 26/2006 dated 17th July, on the Mediation of Private Insurance and Reinsurance, and is
not governed therefore, by the laws regarding Social Security matters, with regard to the determination of Employment Accidents,
unless said accidents are expressly stated as an object of coverage for the Policy.
The resolution of any complaints or claims that arise in relation to this Policy must be performed in accordance with the laws set out
under Order ECO/734/2004.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
In compliance with
• the Spanish Data Protection Act 1//1999 or the equivalent legislative enactment of the territory that implements Directive 95/46/EC
and any subsequent amending EU Directive(s) (the "DPA");
• any statutory instruments or guidelines made or promulgated under the DPA;
• all registration and notification requirements under the DPA that are required for the performance of each party’s obligations under
this Policy; and
• all Personal Data transfer and processing requirements under the DPA, including but not limited to restrictions on the transfer or
processing of Personal Data;
the Insurer, as the party responsible for the file, informs You that all personal data that You provide directly or by way of the intermediary
shall be included in a file, which is controlled by the Insurer, in order to manage Your insurance Policy and any related claims,
preventing and investigating fraud, and assessing and defining risk. This information may be used on behalf of the Insurer by other
insurance or reinsurance companies for reinsurance or coinsurance purposes, or by emergency medical assistance providers and
claims handlers appointed by the Insurer that specialise in claims management, and such other service providers as the Insurer uses to
assist in the administration of the Policy. All the information obtained, as well as any prior assignment or handling of such information, is
necessary for the maintenance of the contractual relationship.
Regarding Your personal data:

The Insurer considers Your personal data to be private and confidential and it is committed to complying with its obligation to keep
personal data confidential and its duty to safeguard them. To do so the Insurer will adopt the necessary measures to avoid
alteration, loss, handling or access of such data by any non-authorised party, taking into consideration the state of technology at
any given time.
All transfers of personal data to third parties will be done in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and shall be limited
what is strictly necessary for the performance of the services.

The Insurer may access and/or disclose Your personal data if required to do so by law or in the good faith and belief that such
action is necessary to: (a) conform with the law or comply with legal process served on the Insurer, (b) protect and defend its
rights or property, including without limitation the security and integrity of its network; or (c) act under pressing circumstances to
protect the personal safety of users of its services or members of the public.

You may exercise Your rights of access, rectification, opposition and request the deletion of data by sending written notice to ,
Europ Assistance S.A. C/Orense, nº 4, CP 28020 Madrid, Spain, which must be accompanied by a copy of Your National
Identification Document (where required by local law, custom or practice) or an equivalent official document, or by sending an email to the following address: customercare@earefund.com.
Additionally, the Insurer can require you disclosing other information (i.e. medical data) to be processed according to the purposes
mentioned herein. You may also object to Your personal data being filed and processed as stated herein. However, if you do object to
the disclosing and/or processing of Your personal data, the insurance policy will be null and void as the Insurer will not be
able to manage the policy or related claims on Your behalf.

COMPLAINTS AND LEGAL RIGHTS AGAINST THE INSURER PROCEDURES:
The process for making complaints against the Insurer is as follows:

Should the Insured not be satisfied with the way his/her complaint under this Policy has been processed, if he/she would like to file a complaint

5.
STATUTORY CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Cancellation for policies purchased less than One Month before Departure.
If you purchase the insurance cover within one month of the date of departure of the insured Trip there is no right to cancel the policy.
Otherwise:
Cancellation within the Statutory Period
You may cancel this policy within 14 days of receipt of the policy documents (the Cancellation Period) by writing to the Policyholder at the
address shown in the Schedule during the Cancellation Period. Any Insurance Premium already paid will be refunded to You providing You
have not travelled and no claim has been made or is intended to be made and no incident likely to give rise to a claim has occurred.
The policy will be cancelled with effect from its date of issue.
Cancellation outside the Statutory Period
You may cancel this policy at any time after the Cancellation Period by writing to the Policyholder at the address shown in the Schedule. If
You cancel after the Cancellation Period no premium refund will be made.
We reserve the right to cancel the policy by providing 21 days’ notice by registered post to Your last known address. No refund of premium
will be made.
Non Payment of Premiums
We reserve the right to cancel this policy immediately in the event of non-payment of the premium or in the event that the payment is made
by fraudulent use of a credit/debit card or other payment method then the policy automatically becomes null and void.

6.
PURPOSE OF THIS INSURANCE
The purpose of this insurance is to provide financial protection and emergency assistance for Your trip(s). This policy documentation issued by
Us forms a contract of insurance between Us and those people specified on Your insurance schedule. This contract is only valid when You
have a valid confirmation from the Policyholder showing that You have purchased this insurance and have paid the appropriate premium.
You should read Your policy documentation in full to understand what is and is not covered.

Insurance Policy General Conditions
DEFINITIONS
ABROAD: This shall be understood, for the purposes of the coverage established herein, to mean any country that is not the one where the
Insured’s Customary Residence is located, according to what was recorded at the time this Policy was contracted.
ACCIDENT: Any bodily injury that arises directly from an unexpected fortuitous, external, violent act that is unintended by the Insured which
produced Death, Permanent Incapacity or any other situation that is covered by the Policy.
For the purposes of this Policy, Accident shall include but not be limited to the following situations
-
Electrical discharges or those caused by lightning.
Poisoning, suffocation, burns or injuries produced by the involuntary inhalation of gases or vapours, immersion or submersion, or by
the ingestion of any liquid, solid, toxic or corrosive materials.
Infections, when the pathogenic agent has penetrated the body through a wound produced by an accident that is covered under the
Policy, provided that the cause and effect can be medically certified.
ACTS OF TERRORISM OR SABOTAGE: Operations that are organised secretly with ideological, political, economic, religious or social
purposes and which are carried out individually or in a group, with the objective of causing social alarm and attacking people in an
indiscriminate way, or for the purposes of damaging or destroying property.
Sabotage is a deliberate action that is punishable by law and which is directed at weakening an enemy through subversion, obstruction,
interruption or the destruction of material.
CANCELLATION PERIOD: the 14 days following the date the policy is received for new business or the 14 days from the renewal date.
CARRIER: Any company that is duly authorised by the public authorities to transport passengers.
CLAIM: Any sudden, accidental, unforeseen act that is not intended by the Insured and whose damaging consequences are covered by this
Policy and which may entitle the insured to the receipt of indemnity payments. The group of damages that arise from one same cause shall be
considered to constitute one sole claim.
COMPANION: Any person, other than the Insured, that is registered within the same contracted Trip, and who may or may not be insured.
CUSTOMARY RESIDENCE: The Customary Residence of the Insured shall be understood to be the country from which the Trip commenced
and that is recorded on the Insured's booking when the Trip was contracted.
EPIDEMIC: An Epidemic shall be understood to be any sudden and unexpected large-scale manifestation of an infectious disease in a country
that spreads rapidly and violently through said country, provided that the WHO has recommended cancelling any international trips that are not
essential from or to the affected area and, in cases of influenza viruses, provided that the WHO declares at least a Stage 5 Pandemic Alert,
according to its World Plan for Pandemic Influenza. The Quarantine for the affected persons must be declared by the relevant department of
health or the competent authorities of the affected country.
EXCESS: In cases where a Claim is filed, it is the amount that is borne by the Insured, the amount of which is stated in this Policy.
FAMILY MEMBER: Spouse or civil partner duly registered at the relevant Official Registry (if civil partner was not registered, documentation
should be provided to prove that the same requirements as if registered are met), parents, parents-in-law, children, sons and daughters-in-law,
siblings, brothers and sisters-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, aunts and uncles or nephews and nieces.
FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME: The hour indicated by the carrier in the airplane ticket or equivalent document.
ILLNESS: For the purposes of this Policy, Illness shall be understood to be an unexpected alteration of the Insured’s health that occurs after
the Trip was booked or the insurance was purchased (whichever is later), which has been diagnosed by a qualified doctor or dentist,

INSURANCE COMPANY / INSURER: Europ Assistance España S.A. de Seguros y Reaseguros, acting as the Insurance Company
(hereinafter, the Insurer).
INSURED: The individual residing in any country in the European Economic Area who has contracted the insurance for Cancellation (Flight)
associated with a Trip purchased on the website of the Policyholder and whose Country of Residence is located within the European Economic
Area throughout the term of this Policy.
LUGGAGE: The clothes and belongings that are necessary for personal use and hygiene in the course of the Trip, which are contained inside
a suitcase or suitcases, including the suitcases themselves but excluding money, jewellery, electronic and digital equipment and documents,
ONE-WAY: A Trip which does not include a return journey.
POLICY: This is the document that contains the basic regulations for the Insurance, and it is comprised of the General Conditions and the
Schedule.
POLICYHOLDER: The legal person that enters into this Policy with the Insurer and the party that is responsible for the obligations that arise
from said Policy, except for those that must be fulfilled by the Insured due to their nature.
PREMIUM: It is the total price of the Insurance Policy, including any applicable Insurance Premium Tax.
QUARANTINE: Temporary isolation of people to prevent an infectious disease from spreading.
ROBBERY: The removal of moveable objects that belong to others, by way of violence or intimidation of the persons involved or by the use of
force.
SERIOUS ACCIDENT: Any Accident, as detailed under Definitions, the consequences of which impede the Insured from travelling normally
from their Customary Residence or which implies a hospitalisation of more than 24 hours, which makes it medically impossible to carry out the
Trip,
SERIOUS ILLNESS: An Illness, as detailed under Definitions, which results in the Insured being hospitalised for more than 24 hours or which
involves an imminent risk of death and which makes it medically impossible for the Insured to carry out the Trip.
STRIKE: The collective ceasing of work by employees in order to obtain something or press for something under certain situations.
THEFT / PICK-POCKETING: The removal of moveable objects that belong to others, without violence or intimidation of the persons involved,
and without the use of force.
THIRD PARTY: Any individual or legal person, except for:

The Insured himself/herself, his/her Family Members, as well as any ascendants or descendants, or individuals accompanying them
on the Trip.
The Insured’s employees or agents, whether they receive a salary from him/her or not, when such individuals are acting in the
fulfilment of their duties.
TRIP: The Insured’s trip for which the flight and/or hotel bookings were made on the website of the Policyholder and/or on those websites
where this insurance is being sold by virtue of a specific agreement between the holder of the website and the Policyholder, or with the
Policyholder by telephone.
VOUCHER: Tickets / Vouchers issued by the Policyholder to be used when contracting travel and/or leisure products marketed by the
Policyholder via its Websites, with a validity of twelve (12) months from the date of receipt by the Insured.

INSURANCE COVER PROVIDED
A. CANCELLATION COVERAGE
The causes that are covered by the Insurer and which will entitle You to a reimbursement of expenses are those set forth below, provided that they affect
You directly, that at least 48 hours have passed between the time the insurance was purchased and the start of the Trip, and that at least 48 hours have
passed between the time the insurance was purchased and the event that caused the Trip to be cancelled occurred, unless the insurance was purchased
at the same time as the Trip was purchased.
In all cases it is a necessary and essential requirement for You to be entitled to this indemnity that You present an original medical document
which was issued by the doctor that attended the person whose Illness was the cause for the cancellation or, as the case may be, the relevant
original documents, as well as the original invoices recording the Trip’s price.
CANCELLATION
The Insurer shall reimburse You up to the cost of the Flight (but not exceeding EUR 5,000 per insured and Claim and EUR 50,000 in total per
reservation/purchase) for the otherwise irrecoverable costs incurred by You as a result of the reasonable and necessary cancellation of the Trip as a direct
result of:
1. Death, Serious Illness or Serious Accident of the Insured
The Death, Serious Illness or Serious Accident of any of the Insured parties travelling under the same reservation, which makes it medically
impossible for such party (ies) to travel on the scheduled date, in accordance with the exclusions stipulated herein.
An Excess equivalent to 10% of the Flight price (without taxes) applies, which amount shall be paid by You.
2. Any other evidenced event, unintended by the Insured and that is outside of the Insured’s control.
Any other circumstances unintended by the Insured, that are outside of the Insured’s control, and for which, documentary evidence is issued
by an acceptable and reputable Third Party (such as a Member of a Professional Association or a Public Body), in accordance with the
exclusions stipulated herein. Cancellation must be reasonable, necessary and justifiable.
An Excess equivalent to 20% of the Flight price (without taxes) applies, which amount shall be paid by You.
In both cases 1. and 2.,
A. Your compensation shall be calculated based on the invoices that demonstrate the Policyholder’s sales conditions but excluding booking
fees, credit, debit or charge card fees and charges and airport taxes which are legally not refundable by the service provider, provided that
said costs occur after the date of execution of the insurance and before the Trip or contracted service commences, and which were not
known at the time the insurance was contracted, and which directly affect You.
B. It should be noted that exceptionally, and given the impossibility on Your part to present an itemised invoice detailing the taxes charged by
the Policyholder and/or the Trip organiser, the Insurer shall apply a deduction of EUR15.00 for this, per leg of the Trip, on short and
medium-range flights, i.e. flights of up to 3,500 Km. This rule shall not apply to long-haul flights, i.e. flights over 3,500 Km, in which case You
must present an itemised invoice.
MISSED FLIGHTS
If You arrive too late to board the flight purchased on the website of the Policyholder due to an event that is unintended by You except as
otherwise excluded, the amount for the leg of the Trip that was not used by You shall be reimbursed to You. This will only be done if You
purchase another journey with the same destination within 48 hours after the flight that was initially scheduled and this shall be evidenced by the
invoices of the new journey bought. The limit for this indemnity shall not exceed 50% of the initial Trip price (round-trip or One-Way), excluding
taxes, up to a maximum of EUR5,000 per Insured and Claim and a maximum limit of EUR25,000 for the same reservation/purchase

BREACH ON THE PART OF THE AIRLINE AND/OR AIRPORT
If the flight purchased on the website of the Policyholder does not take off due to a problem attributable to the airline and/or airport, or there is a
delay in the flight that is longer than 7 hours, the amount for the leg of the Trip that was not used up to the corresponding limit with a maximum
of EUR5,000 per Insured and Claim, and EUR25,000 for the same reservation/purchase shall be reimbursed. An Excess of EUR30 applies
per each and every Insured included in the same reservation/purchase.
FLIGHT DELAY
The reimbursement of costs incurred when purchasing items intended to cater for basic needs and which were borne at the place where the delay
took place is covered due to a flight delay (regular, low-cost or charter) purchased on the Website of the Policyholder that was longer than 4 hours
from the initial scheduled time for take-off and when the relevant original invoices are presented, together with the original delay slip issued by the
airlines.
This coverage shall have the following limits: As from 4 hours after the initial Flight Departure Time, 30 euros per each two hours of delay
thereafter and a maximum limit of EUR150 total.
This coverage shall not be applicable if the Insured is transferred to another company flying within the following 4 hours from the
initially scheduled time for take-off.
EXCLUSIONS
This Cancellation cover provided under this section applies only to the Flight costs forming part of the Trip and included within the
invoice for the Trip reservation made on the website of the Policyholder. It does not cover the costs arising from the contracting of
excursions, visits, tickets of entry or any costs that are not included within the invoice for the Trip reservation made on the website of
the Policyholder.
Likewise, the consequences of any of the following events are excluded from this Policy’s coverage:
A.
Any cause that cannot be reasonably demonstrated by presenting documents that certify the reason for the cancellation.
B.
Any amounts for which the Insured can be compensated by a Third Party.
C.
Acts perpetrated by the Insured.
a. The failure by the Insured individuals to present (for whatever reason) those documents that are essential for them to travel
(passports, tickets, visas, vaccination certificates), save the non-granting of visas due to unjustified reasons, provided that
the Insured has taken all necessary steps within the timeframes and manner established for the granting of the visas.
b. Those acts intentionally perpetrated by the Insured.
c. Wrongful misconduct, self-injury or suicide.
d. Those caused by acts of reckless imprudence, serious negligence or which arise from acts of crime.
e. Any Accident that is produced while the Insured is under the influence of alcoholic beverages, drugs, narcotics,
psychotropic drugs, stimulants or any other substances that are analogous thereto. To determine whether such influence
existed, regardless of the type of Accident in question, that which is established under the applicable laws for driving motor
vehicles and pedestrian safety that are in force at the time the incident occurs shall be abided by.
f. The Insured engaging in air travel, save for those Accidents that the Insured may suffer when travelling as a passenger with
a duly authorised airline are covered, provided that the aircraft is piloted by personnel holding a valid pilot’s license that is in
force (I) that the aircraft is in the midst of flying a regular or charter flight between airports prepared for passenger traffic; or
(II) the aircraft is parked on the runways of the aforementioned airports; or (III) that the aircraft is carrying out any type of
manoeuvres at such airports.
D.
Events:
a. Wars (whether they are declared or not), riots, uprisings, Acts of Terrorism, effects of radioactivity, mass demonstrations,
closing of borders and the conscious disobedience of official prohibitions.
b. Any natural disaster, such as some of the following natural phenomena: earthquakes and seaquakes, extraordinary flooding
(including the sea’s battering), volcanic eruptions, atypical cyclonic storms (including extraordinary winds with speeds of
more than 135 km/h), tornados, fires and storms with meteorological phenomena characterised by significant alterations of
the atmosphere, bolts of electricity, thunder, lightning, wind and intense rain, snow or hail.
c. Quarantine (except for the Quarantine of the Insured on the orders of a treating doctor).
d. Epidemics or pollution at the country of destination.,

e. Cancellation of events such as sports, cultural, social and leisure events, etc., with the understanding that such cancellation
does not impede the Trip from being carried out.
f. Removal of the means of transport (be it temporary or not) due to the recommendation of the relevant manufacturer or the
civil or port authority.
g. Events that arise as a consequence of Strikes.
h. Events that arise as a consequence of the breakdown or a failure in the means of transport (other than damages caused to
roads or train tracks due to avalanches, snow or flooding) and which were previously known at the time the insurance, the
Trip and/or stay or similar were contracted.
i. Lack of sufficient participants or reservations for the Trip to be carried out, or overbooking.
j. Those related to voluntary or compulsory declaration of insolvency, disappearance of or breach of contract by any of the
contracted service providers of the Insured and/or the Policyholder.
k. The theft/pick-pocketing and the mere loss of documents, luggage or personal objects are excluded from this coverage.
E.
Employment/financial situation
a. Changes in the employment leave and/or holidays of the Insured
b. Change in the economic and financial circumstances of the Insured except for the following cases:
I. Unemployment where the employee is employed by others, has had an open-ended contract for more than two years
and who was not aware that he was going to become unemployed when he/she contracted the Trip.
II. Starting to work in a new company with an employment contract provided that such hiring occurs after the insurance
has been contracted, and that the Insured was unaware of this at the time of contracting the Trip.
III. Extension of the employment contract notified after the date of contracting the Trip.
IV. Compulsory relocation of the Insured away from his/her Customary Residence - for work-related reasons - to a
distance greater than 300 Km. and for a period of more than three months.
F.
Any Claim arising from:
a. Pre-existing or chronic Illness of any of the insured parties:
I. provided that they are not unexpected episodes of the disease becoming worse that impede the person from making
the Trip.
II. where, once the Illness was stabilised, the insured parties suffered an imbalance or worsening thereof in the 30 days
prior to their contracting the Policy.
b. The refusal by the Insured to receive the visit of a medical expert when the Insurer deems such service is necessary.
c. Any Trip where the purpose of the Trip is for cosmetic treatments or therapies,
d. A lack of the necessary vaccinations or they are contraindicated, if it is impossible to follow certain recommended
preventive medical treatments at certain destinations,
e. Voluntary interruption of pregnancies
f. treatments related to alcoholism, drug or narcotics consumption, unless such substances have been prescribed by a doctor
and are consumed as indicated.
G.
Sanctions
Whenever coverage, benefit or claim payment provided by this policy would be in violation of the United Nations Resolutions or the trade
and economic sanctions, laws or regulations of the European Union, such coverage, benefit or claim payment shall be null and void.
OTHER PROVISIONS
PAYMENT OF THE PREMIUM
For sales made on the website of the Policyholder, the price of the insurance shall be settled by You at the time of purchasing the Trip. The
Policyholder shall pay the Insurer the Premiums at the Registered offices of the latter, EUROP ASSISTANCE, in the bank accounts and on the
dates specified to the Policyholder by the Insurer.

Any correspondence to the Insurer shall be sent to Insurer at the address stated in the Schedule of the Policy.
Any correspondence that is carried out by the Policy Intermediary to the Insurer shall have the same effect as if they were made by
the Policyholder, unless the latter has indicated otherwise.
Any correspondence from the Insurer to the Policyholder shall be made to the address of the Policyholder stated in the Schedule
of the Policy.
Any correspondence from the Insurer to the Insured shall be made to the address provided by the Insured at the point at which
they contact the Insurer to make a claim or request an insurance certificate.

NOTICE OF CLAIM AND PAYMENT OF INDEMNITIES
You must notify the Insurer by sending an e-mail to claimstravel@earefund.com or by entering the website www.earefund.com where You will be
able to access “Online Processing” to manage Your own reimbursement request, attaching the documents that evidence the cause for the Trip to
be cancelled and the relevant invoices or documents related thereto.
You shall notify Us that a Claim has occurred, in a maximum period of 7 days as from the time the event giving rise to the claim occurred.
It is important to Us that Your claim is processed quickly. To do that, We need You to provide all relevant information as soon as possible after any
incident. Below is a list of the information that We may need as part of Your claim.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED IN THE CASE OF CLAIMS








Documents that evidence the facts (medical report, death certificate, hospital documents, police report, complaints filed at police stations…).
These documents should contain the date that the event occurred, the cause, the diagnosis, any relevant prior records or antecedents and
the treatment prescribed.
Form provided by Us to be completed by the registered medical practitioner attending the Insured or other person receiving medical
treatment related to the cancellation. This document shall only be necessary in cases where insufficient information on the person’s medical
condition has been provided.
Original invoice and/or receipts for the Trip that was purchased.
Proof of purchase of insurance.
Original invoice of the costs caused by cancelling the Trip, issued by the services provider and which gives a breakdown of the amounts and
concepts involved, as well as a copy of the general conditions of the sale.
Original document that cancels the reservation, issued by the services provider, as well as the invoice with the cancellation expenses.
Copy of the electronic tickets. It is essential that they indicate the full price and tariff conditions (non-reimbursable, non-endorsable, nonchangeable, any type of penalties, the ticket class, etc.)
If the cancellation is due to an incident suffered by a Family Member, a document that evidences the relationship between the Insured and
said Family Member must be presented (for example a photocopy of the “libro de familia” or a certificate of birth/family affiliation for each of
the parties involved). if such documents exist in the country in which the Insured bought this policy..
CURRENCY
The settlement of any possible indemnity payments under the contracted coverage shall be carried out in the currency in which the policy was sold
and the Premium paid by the Insured.
SUBROGATION:
We may exercise Our right following settlement of any claim under this section, to bring appropriate action in Your name against any other party,
to recover and keep the amount paid.
OTHER INSURANCE
If there is another insurance policy in force (whether in Your name or otherwise) at the time of any incident which results in a Claim
under this policy which does (or would but for the existence of this policy) cover the same loss, damage, expense or liability, We will not
pay more than Our proportionate share of such claim.

PAYMENT METHOD – FLIGHT CANCELLATION CLAIMS
The potential compensation to which You may be entitled, in the case of Flight Cancellation Claims, based on the terms and
conditions of this Policy, could be settled by Us by providing You with one or several Vouchers, according to the following:
In the case of Claims:
A. those compensations, the total amount of which, is of up to EUR180.00, inclusive, shall be settled by Us to You by
means of cash payment;
B. those compensations, the total amount of which, exceeds the aforementioned amount, shall be settled by us by
providing You with Vouchers worth the total compensation amount to which You are entitled under the Policy or,
alternatively, by providing You with Vouchers and a cash amount, the aggregate amount of which equals the
compensation amount resulting from the Claim.
