HALLS OF HORROR RETURNS TO TGV CINEMAS
Prepare to scream your lungs out!
Brace yourself this month as nightly phantoms come out to play and invade TGV Cinemas to
welcome back the Halls of Horror… all in the name of All Hallow’s Eve!
In line with their return and also the return of the Halls of Horror, the cinema chain is daring
one and all to visit their cinemas this month and be scared out of their wits with the variety
of horror flicks lined up.
Adding an adrenaline rush to the things that go bump in the night, , TGV Cinemas is throwing
another challenge to spook fans to be the first in town to watch these thrillers with a buy 1
free 1 exclusively for the midnight sessions in TGV 1Utama.
“Horror movies are a popular hit amongst movie goers. It is not about the storyline that
draws them in, but the experience of watching such movies on a big screen coupled with the
latest audio technology that heightens the excitement of watching it. In addition, mass
hysteria and collective screams just adds in to the hype. So clearly, the month of October is
not for the faint-hearted!” said Gerald V Dibbayawan, CEO of TGV Cinemas.
The haunting line-up begins this weekend with Sadako 2, s followed by Insidious:Chapter 2,
the much-anticipated sequel to the 2010 release. Back by popular demand is the suspense-

filled Conjuring, and last but definitely not least is a spine-tingling Cantonese horror, Baby
Blues.
Adding to the chilling season of horror, Chill*X, TGV Cinemas’ movie-themed lounge in 1
Utama Shopping Mall is offering a special Halloween Combo which comprises the Trick R’
Treat burger and wedges set plus a Frankenstein milkshake.
TGV Cinemas introduced the first installation of Halls of Horror in 2011. Similarly, various
horror movies were scheduled together with on-ground activities held at selected locations
to give movie-goers a scary, nerve-wrecking experience..
Befitting the theme, TGV Cinemas organised a “Halloween welcome-back” party attended
by the media and local celebrities including Xandria Ooi, Chelsia Ng, Hansen Lee, Will Quah
and Ben Jern of Fly.Fm. The guests also put their bravery to the test by sitting through a
movie marathon of Insidious 1 & 2!
In line with TGV Cinemas’ efforts to put their best foot forward for their customers, TGV
Cinemas also recently introduced their TGV Mobile Buddy to complement their new and
improved website. TGV Mobile Buddy is currently available on Google Play and the App
Store.
