There was never much doubt where the points were going, but towards the end the
Singers let go a little, letting Stranraer get a consolidation goal. And then it
happened - Heiyu Hoyahamahia couldn't resist some tasteless celebration, and was
sent for an early shower, thus missing a match next weekend.

The Blitzballers attempted to play suspended Rikku, but replaced with Ophelia they
still could field a full 11. The match itself was largely uneventful, but given both
were lucky enough to score one goal on their lone shots, the result is fair after

Two of the most promising teams face off at ACME Park, and the home team started out
with claiming the lead early. However, Call of Cthulhu came back in the second half,
first with an equalizing goal, and then summoning lots of scary, peculiar monsters
towards the very end. The referee didn't like this at all, though, and handed them
both the jack of hearts and the seven of diamonds.

whoever expected an entertaining match were sorely disappointed. Almost nothing
happened, but there was someone skipping around the Mouseketeer defense once, and
that was enough - a rather lucky homewin for those who heed the call. Will they
claim the division's karma crown?

A very close fight that started out with Marvel losing a player early, but then claiming the
lead nevertheless. The Powers then went up to 2-1, but only seconds after their leading goal,
Marvel came back and equalized, and then claimed the lead again. With a late game run,
however, Car Park Rangers managed to score twice again and keep both points after a very
entertaining game at Wherever Evil-doers Roam.

This time only 46 of the 48 teams submitted, and both had missed a deadline earlier this
season. I hope you're both still with us!
Lower Tadfield Apocalypse has gotten a gap in Rosedale Open, with 13 points. Sale Savoyards
and Saturday Morning FC follow closest, 3 points behind. The relegation zone is made up of
Really New Bremen Cyberdruids with 7 points, Jedi Order with 6 points and Stranraer Reserves
with one point. The luckiest team of Rosedale Open is still Saturday Morning FC, and Really
New Bremen Cyberdruids keep being the unluckiest. 11 out of the 12 clubs in Rosedale Open
submitted.
Mishima Zaibatsu keep steaming ahead with a full pot of 16. Dangermouse follows closest, but
are now 4 points behind, and Monkey Business is another point behind. First Men of Rome, Dial
Square FC and Trivial Brief Association all fight to avoid the top relegation spot, whereas
Marvel Comics and Coventry follows, with 4 and 2 points respectively. Mishima Zaibatsu had a
lucky round like any gambler dreams about, and are now by far the luckiest team of Lexington
League. First Men of Rome, on the other hand, appears to be chasing Gangsters United's record
from the first season in bad karma. All the Lexington League teams submitted, for the fourth
time in a row.
Batt in Blax and Lords have ran away with Berkeley Conference, at 15 points each. Brazil Star
Conquerors are also in the promotion zone, with 12 points. The relegation fight includes five
teams right now, with Underdogs FC, Pocket Valley Philosophers, Fluffy Bunny Eaters and Super
Milk at 4 points, and Sheffield Thursday at 2 points. The luckiest team of the league is Odd
Athletics, and the unluckiest is World Ambassadors. Berkeley had an 11/12 submission rate.
Kirkwood Showdown is topped by Dummys, with Andeby FK one point behind, and Rosedale Quest
another point behind. Greensleeves United is currently in the spot for relegation to the nonleague, but they are only one point behind the Republican Party. Andeby FK is the luckiest
team of Kirkwood so far, and Greensleeves United is the unluckiest. All the Kirkwood Showdown
teams submitted orders.
The worst karma of all still belongs to First Men of Rome, and the best karma of all now
belongs to Mishima Zaibatsu.
The home advantage is still 7 VP. In the next issue, matches 9 and 10 will be played, and the
third round of the Rosedale Knockout.
