Private Pilot Certificate
A Private Pilot Certificate allows you to fly an airplane and carry passengers and baggage for
personal use. It is also the gateway to an aviation career. Once you have a Private Pilot License
you can become Instrument rated, earn a Commercial Pilot License, become a Flight Instructor
and work in the aviation industry. If a career in aviation is not what you are after, it is simply an
incredible experience that will last a lifetime and take you great places.
-HOW TO GET STARTEDTalk to one of our Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) and schedule an Introductory Flight.
That includes a half hour preflight session with one of our Certified Flight Instructors
followed by a half hour flight with instructor in a Cessna 172 aircraft where YOU get to take
the yoke and take off. You’ll do some basic straight and level flight plus some turns to get a
feel for the aircraft. Your instructor will help you land safely and you will get to log that
flight time towards your pilot license if that is where you want to go!
You can’t beat this $99 intro flight experience.

how quickly they learn and retain the required knowledge and skillset.

for a maximum of 2.5 hours of flight training towards the private pilot certificate,

at half the cost of the airplane. Simulators are especially useful for practice with
