There is a Naomi in your life ready to guide you in your walk of faith. After years
of walking with God for a long time and you meet your test, will you be like Orpah
who will fall back or be like Naomi and cling to your Naomi?

A man of standing is a man of valor, one of great standing and is respected by
society
He receives favor but is also an executer of favor received from God
CHARACTERISTICS OF A MAN OF STANDING:
1. He knows the people he is working with-Boaz used to great his workers and this
showed he had a relationship of faith with them

2. He is Concerned about peoples welfare
Ruth 2:5
He is very observant. To ask questions means you are observant.
3. He is approachable. Are the people around you free enough to give you details?
4. He is a provider (Ruth 2:8). He provides not only for his family but also for
those surrounding him.
5. A man of standing extends his kindness even to strangers
6. He guards a woman's honor
A WOMAN OF STANDING CHARACTERISTICS
1. She loves the word of God
2. She is of noble character

3. She is a wife
Genesis 1:9
4. She clings to God.
1. You find her in the word of God because she stands by the word of God like
Ruth
2. She is a determined woman-Ruth 1:16. She would never let anything to do with
her destiny go.
3. She is a trendsetter and does not wait for others to do what she knows is right
4. She does not only receive favor but her favor is instant
5. She is a steady worker.
6. Her reputation precedes her.
A man or woman of God comes from a salvation of standing
