PUBLIC COMPUTER
The library will provide at least one word processing / spreadsheet computer for public use. The computer
will be available to all patrons. Patrons must pay a per-page charge equal to the photocopying charge.
Use of Adult Services Department computers is restricted to patrons high school age or older except that
use of Adult Services Department netbook computers is restricted to patrons 18 years of age or older. Use
of TeenSpace computer stations is limited to patrons middle school age through high school age. Youth
Services computers are intended for use by patrons up to sixth grade but middle school students may use
them if they are available. No one high school age or older may use any computer in the Youth Services
Department unless they are using it with a child. If all PCs in the Youth Services computer room are in use, a
non-Grayslake Library cardholder must relinquish their PC to a Grayslake Library cardholder provided they
have used it for at least 15 minutes.
