Donnie Robinson Manager-Six Sigma Dominion Resources, Inc. Donnie is a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Management, and earned his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He started his career with Dominion in 2001, in the Labor Relations Department. In 2002, Donnie moved into a HR Generalist role, within the Virginia Power business unit at Dominion. During this time he supported the Operations, Construction, Metering, Design, and Substations departments. In 2007, he entered the Six Sigma Black Belt Training program, and was a full time practicing Belt until 2010. During that time he earned certifications as both a Black Belt and Master Black Belt, while working process improvement projects in all areas of Human Resources, and some outside in other Dominion Service organizations. In 2010, he moved into a Compensation Analyst role, and was able to utilize process improvement skills to automate Dominion’s Annual Incentive Program tracking system. In 2011, he returned to Dominion’s Six Sigma program as the Manager of Six Sigma. His duties include promoting the Six Sigma program within the Services Company at Dominion, as well as overseeing the process improvement projects within this Business Unit. Donnie is also responsible for the Six Sigma training program for all of Dominion, which includes the Black Belt, Master Black Belt, Green Belt, Blue Belt, Design for Six Sigma, and Six Sigma for Leaders training as well as the instructors.
