The two examples below showcase the use of these techniques in educating the public on the recent measles outbreak. This Infectious Disease and Vaccines infographic, which illustrated how vaccines have significantly reduced cases of contagious disease in the USA, was tweeted by Bill Gates, to his 20 million followers, who retweeted it thousands of times, making it the third most population tweet of his nearly 200 tweets in the past six months. A simulation was also created and optimized for mobile devices which help people visualize and understand herd immunity in their own home. Check it out here: Measles Simulator.
