Tuesday, September 23: root card 16-verbum-L-word; Standards Plus Spelling Assessment 3;
share out ‘attached’ emotions; discuss theme and introduce prompt for response to
literature essay (What TM could we use to organize our thinking?) HM: WW3 E due
tomorrow
Wednesday, September 24: root card 17-nomen, nominis-L-name; Standards Plus no lesson
today; Wordly Wise Lesson 3 E due; Introduce prompt for response to literature essay (What
TM could we use to organize our thinking?) Use evidence from the text (5-6)-your highlights,
annotations, and ‘attached’ emotions & a TM to organize your thinking finish as homework
Thursday, September 25: root card 18-pro-before, for, Standards Plus Punctuation Lesson 1commas; Part 2 of prompt via TM finish as homework
Friday, September 26: Standards Plus Punctuation Lesson 2- commas; select best three from
both TM’s and place into flee map; begin/ create opening paragraph; synonym and antonym
test prep sheet- complete/study and turn in Monday; WW3 Vocabulary Test MONDAY
