Biographical Information Constance Komoroski, Esq. Constance Komoroski is a mediator specializing in emotionally charged disputes, including police/excessive force matters, wrongful termination and harassment, discrimination, ADA, with additional expertise in real estate, collections, and probate. While an AUSA Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office in Los Angeles, Ms. Komoroski coauthored the ADR Chapter of the 2003 Federal Civil Practice Manual. During her 16 years as an AUSA Ms. Komoroski litigated and negotiated settlements in claims alleging race and gender discrimination, civil rights, sexual harassment and hostile work environment, disability discrimination and failure to accommodate. Clients included the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Postal Service, and other federal agencies. She also litigated (and settled) numerous personal injury, medical malpractice, real property, condemnation, land use, immigration, Fair Housing, and Native American (Indian) lands cases. Trained at the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University, Ms. Komoroski started her mediation practice in 2006. She serves on mediation panels for the Los Angeles Superior Court, the Orange County Superior Court, the Second District Court of Appeal, and the District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Komoroski served on the Board of Directors of the Southern California Mediation Association from 2007 – 2010. She has presented numerous panels including mediating employment disputes with public sector employers, Brain Science and Negotiation, and ADR Programs in the Courts. Currently, Ms. Komoroski is the Hearing Officer assigned by ground transportation management at LAX for cab driver disciplinary hearings. She is a contract investigator for federal agencies investigating EEO complaints. A graduate of Loyola Law School, Ms. Komoroski clerked for the Honorable Dzintra R. Janavs and at the Land Use/Real Property/Environment Division of the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.
