Confessions are usually heard after the Saturday
morning Mass in Barnstaple and before the Vigil Mass
in South Molton or by appointment.
MORNING PRAYER (or EP) 25 minutes before Mass.

Father Paul writes: And so, we’re back into “Ordinary
Time”. NOT called “ordinary” because it’s not “special”
(like Christmas or Easter) but because we use
“ordinal” numbers to name the weeks – i.e. first,
second, third of the year not one, two, three. [Not a lot
of people know that!!!] It’s the time when we start
reflecting on Our Lord’s ministry rather than on special
events in his life; a reminder to us that we have to live
our ordinary, everyday lives and make sure that Jesus
is a part of them, not just the special bits like
Christmas, Easter … and Sundays!
Catholic Southwest December edition still on sale at
the back of the Church 50p.
First Holy Communion Classes are about to start –
forms now available for classes starting in January for
children, Year 4, who wish to take their first Holy
Communion.
Car Park Permits yellow Car Park Permits are now
available from Mavis. Only persons bringing the
disabled to Church to park in the Presbytery car park
on a Sunday. An ambulance was unable to get into
the car park the other Sunday, so please park with
some thought.
Catenians The Catenians are meeting on Thursday
