Marquez is a Partner of the Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law Offices ("ACCRALAW"), one of the largest general practice law firms in the Philippines. Mr. Marquez obtained his degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Santo Tomas in 1985 and, completed his Bachelor of Laws at the San Beda College of Law in 1989. He ranked 10th place in the 1989 Philippine Bar Examinations. He started his law career in 1990 at the head office of ACCRALAW in Makati City where he was member of the Labor and Litigation Departments. Prior to joining ACCRALAW, Mr. Marquez was an Executive Assistant to Hon. Associate Justice Florenz D. Regalado of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. A tenured Professor of Law, Mr. Marquez handles the Labor Law Review, Labor Relations and Labor Standards classes at the University of San Carlos School of Law and Governance in Cebu City. He is currently a lecturer in Labor Relations at the Magnificus Jurists Review Center, and former BAR Reviewer of the Jurist and the Excellent Bar Review Centers. Mr. Marquez is the Head, and the designated Resident Partner of the firm’s branch office in Cebu City.
