 One to one midwifery-led care throughout delivery

 Onsite 24hr Consultant Anaesthetist service
 Infant feeding support
 All meals, including partner meals and soft drinks
 Baby check for first baby completed by Neonatal Consultant (within 48hrs)
 Postnatal physiotherapy advice
Not included:
 Blood tests (will be charged additionally if taken at Chelsea and Westminster)
 Ultrasound scans or Harmony Test
 Antenatal ward admissions including ward admissions prior to surgery
 Diagnostic tests
 Blood products
 Drugs and dressings
 Additional procedures ie cervical sutures, surgical removal or retained placenta etc
 Anaesthetic drugs and Anaesthetic fee. Epidural Anaesthetic fees will be billed separately by the
anaesthetist in the event of an epidural being sited in labour or for attendance and treatment in
theatre (see page 3)
 Alcoholic beverages and special dietary requirements have an additional supplement to pay
 Interpreters will incur an additional supplement (if required)
 These package prices include a standard room, should a transfer to specialist care be required by
mother or baby (Intensive Care, High Dependency Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care, Special Care etc)
it will be charged at additional rates.

Booking Deposit/ Letter of Guarantee from Health Insurance Provider
At the time of booking we will request a non-refundable deposit of £5,000 which is to guarantee
your booking on the unit. This deposit needs to be received within 28 days of you receiving your
booking confirmation pack. You will also need to return the completed Private Patient Agreement
Form.
Most insurance companies do not cover maternity care. However, if your insurance company is
willing to cover your stay then we will need a Guarantee of Payment from them before you are
admitted. This must detail you policy/membership number and authorisation code. It must also
state your level of cover and how (if any) you are expected to pay. If we are not provided this
information in advance of your admission then unfortunately, we will request that you settle the bill
yourself and then claim the money back from your insurance company.
Your account will remain your accountability throughout your stay, and we will ask for payment at
the time of discharge should we not have received a Letter of Guarantee in advance.

For mothers who we are welcoming back to the Kensington Wing for another delivery, we are
delighted to offer a 10% loyalty discount off the cost of the standard delivery package.
Unfortunately this discount does not apply if you are covered by a third party.
