10 Easy Steps for a great Reebok Spartan Race Experience!
1. Proceed to the “BIB NUMBERS/ WAIVERS” Tent and Board near the entrance to Festival area
2. Find your BIB Number located on the BIB Number Wall. Write your BIB Number on your arm.
3. Fill out and sign your Participant Waiver.
4. Proceed to “REGISTRATION” Tent with your waiver and Identification in hand. Choose the
lane with the number sequence that matches your BIB Number.
5. Pick up your race packet from one of our awesome volunteers and step in the Festival area
6. Loop the wristband through the timing chip and attach it to your wrist.
7. Attach your BIB Number to your shirt with safety pins.
8. If you choose, drop your stuff at “BAG CHECK ” Tent for safe-keeping.
9. Head into the Festival Area, look for “START” signs located at the within the Festival.
10. Prepare For Glory!

BIB Numbers will be posted on Wednesday, February 3 2016
Click on the Bib List in order to find your bib number.
Your name will be in alphabetical order according to your last name. There you will
find your bib number and heat start time. Write it down. Your BIB Number will be
used to find your race packet.
5. Print the Reebok Spartan Race Waiver located under Important Documents.
6. Fill out the waiver completely and bring it with you along with one valid form of ID. Who will forget to
bring the waiver he can pick up the new one from the tent marked with sign “INFORMATION” for very cheap
price - 30 burpees only!
7. EVERY RACER MUST SIGN A WAIVER & SHOW A VALID FORM OF ID!
RACE DAY REGISTRATION FLOW
Note: Race Day Registrations are available on-­­site for 78 Euros.
All athletes wishing to register on-­­site must race in the heat they are assigned.
Saturday:
Registration OPENS at 7:00 am and CLOSES at 10:45am.
There are limited parking places in Jakuszyce so if the parking will get full, you MUST park in
Harrachov and use shuttle bus to get to the venue.
STEP 1:
With BIB Number, Signed Waiver, and Identification in hand, proceed to the REGISTRATION
TENT.

STEP 2:
Find the registration lane with the number sequence that matches your BIB
Number.
STEP 3:
Participants will hand race waiver to one of our awesome Volunteers in the
Registration tent. Waivers and ID will be checked to verify identity before packet is
received. No waiver, no racing, no exceptions! This is your ticket into the event!
STEP 4:
You will receive:
Race Bib (Bibs should be pinned on your front, back, or shorts) or headband
Loop the strap through the timing chip and attach it to your wrist.
Free Drink ticket-­­ Located on your bib (Don’t lose this as we won’t give you another
one!!!)
Colored wristbands for t-shirt and medal.
STEP 5:
Please proceed to festival area
STEP 6:
BAG CHECK. Upon entering the festival area, you may check your bags safely at our BAG CHECK Tent.
Bags will be labeled by BIB Number and Last Name.
Bags can be checked for fee 1 Euro. Bring small bags with zippers that can be fastened shut. Bag check tent will
open at 7:30am and CLOSES at 4.30 pm.
STEP 7:
WARM UP. We highly encourage a good warm up. We will have a team on site providing some services.

Beginning at 9:00AM, waves of 200 or 250 racers will be released every 1 5 minutes. You MUST start in your
designated heat time, so please be in the starting corral on time!
You should know your designated start time prior to race-­­day.
If you don’t know your start time, you can locate it in your profile or at the BIB Number Tent located
near the entrance to the festival area.
If you have any problems with your registration, please come to the “Information” Tent and we’ll help resolve
it.
If you will run different time as you chose during your registration the timing company will not be able to
record your correct time and you will be disqualified.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The JAKUSZYCE SUPER Course is a hard 1 3 + km obstacle race from hell. If you have done any race anywhere in
the world: whether a mud run, fun run, Olympic run, bike race, death march or any kind of event claiming to be
the “toughest race on the planet” you will be happy to know that this is where it ends. Step up to the challenge
and get out of your comfort zone.
Orange tape and arrows will mark the course and marshals will help direct you. If you cannot complete an obstacle, a
penalty of 30 burpees will be applied for everybody women include.
If you do your penalty wrong or not full 30 number you can be disqualified. Here is a video how to make correct burpees

Water Stations: As always, Spartans come prepared! All racers should be sure to bring extra water and energy fuel
if needed. There will be 3 aid-­­station with hot tea located on the course, and last one will be in finish line. It is
highly recommended that all athletes carry their own water supply or energy food in a camelback, or other type of
pack. You can take as much water as you’d like to your hydration pack, but if you use our disposable cups, please,
take only one at each station and refill it. Glass bottles are not allowed on track. T hrowing any debris outside of the
the marked zones of aid-stations is strictly prohibited and punishable by the disqualification. This course is tough,
and most racers will be on-­­course for 1,5 - 2 hours. Spartans always come prepared.
Special Gear: Racers should plan to bring appropriate fuel for their needs. No fuel will be provided on course, only water.
Hydration packs (or water containers of some variety) are strongly suggested for all racers.
EVENT TIMING
You will receive a Chip Timer ($40 value) and wrist strap to record
your time and results.
Chip timer must be fastened around w r i s t in order to record
your finish time properly.
Upon completion of the race at the Finish line:
- Drop Chip Timer and wrist strap into buckets at either side of the
Finish Line.
- You will then receive your Spartan Race Medal and T-­­Shirt.
- in case you lost your chip, tell it immediately to timing company
at finish line
- in case you lost all wristbands you will not get any finisher tshirt and medal.
Finisher Times will be displayed at the 5-line Timing D i s p l a y
near the Finish Line. All unofficial results will be displayed also
immediately at the Results Kiosk. When race will be over all results will be uploaded on Online System
Timing company web page.

AWARDS
There will be an awards ceremony at 14:30 pm. The top 3 male, 3 female racers will also receive a Unique
Reebok Spartan Race Plaque. Each of the top 3 male and females will also be featured on Spartan Race's
Wall of Champions page.

- Only racers registered as “individuals” can compete in category individuals so you cannot be registered in the team and
race as individual. If you are registered as a member of the team with a discount, substitution to individual is not
possible.
- Winners who will not participate on Award Ceremony (Elite and Open) will not get any prize by mail.
PROTESTS
- Interim unofficial results will be displayed on the screen in Results Kiosk.
- Official protests against results from the elite heat shall be submitted directly to the Race Director no later than 12:00.
- Fee to file an official protest is € 30. When justified objection fee will be refunded.
FREE RACE PHOTOS
Photos from the event will be available online for free
within 7 days after the event on our website under
"Photos" section. On some obstacles will be our
photographers connected to automatic collection system
for images with automatic identification. The system
provides each competitor at least one photo. The main
condition for athletes is they have to pass thru the
measuring mat that is installed either before the
obstacle, or just behind it. Obstacles accompanied with
our official photographers will be marked with a black
sign with a logo of the camera.
Attention! Writing the BIB number on the body will not
give you guarantee that you will get any picture from the
event.

KID’S RACE – Jr. Spartan Adventure Schedule
SATURDAY START Schedule
12:05pm Pre-School Spartan Kids, age 4 – 6 years, parents can run with kids -­­ 750 m
12:35pm Smaller Spartan Kids, age 6 – 10 years -­­ 1,5 km
1:05pm Older Spartan Kids, age 11 – 14 years - 1,5 km
Registration for the kids race will be at the KIDS Registration T ent and closes at 11:30am. Each child is 15 Euro and
each finisher will receive a finisher’s t - s h i r t a n d medal. Bring Cash if you are planning to register on-­­site. Look
for the orange Kids Fit Banners to locate the starting line.
FESTIVAL CHALLENGES
While you are waiting to race or looking for that extra workout, try out one of our festival challenges. You can test
your power on the arm wrestling challenge, see how many burpees you can do at our burpees challenge.
Enter the official challenge time during the day and take a shot at winning a season
pass and other cool prizes.
AWARDS: First place male and female receive a Free Race Entry to the Spartan Race event of their choice.
Second and third place male and female win Spartan swag.

ACCOMMODATION:
There are limited accommodation in Jakuszyce but there are many possibilities in the city of Harrachov(CZ) which is located 3km from
the venue or in Szklarska Poreba(PL) which is located about 8km from the venue. Check booking.com
Attention! No camping for runners at event site.

You can get to Jakuszyce by train from Liberec and Szklarska Poreba. The station in Jakuszyce is just couple of minutes
of walk from Festival area.

SHUTTLE BUS
If the capacity of parking in Jakuszyce gets full, there is parking available in Harrachov and the shuttle bus will take you
to the the venue.
PARKING
The main parking lot is situated in Jakuszyce near the festival area but it has limited capacity. If you will
park in Harrachov, you will take shuttle bus from there to get to the venue
Follow the directions of the parking attendants.
Parking is 4 euros .
In an effort to go Green and because of limited parking spots, PLEASE CARPOOL!
Bring a backpack for your change of clothes and anything else you may need once on-­­site.
Please, keep all your stuff in the car out of eyes from thief. Organizer is not responsible for stolen items from
parked vehicles.
SPECTATORS
Spectators are allowed to view and to be present on race – free entry.
Spectators may bring cameras, but must adhere to cautions and restriction areas.
Food (BBQ and healthy options) and drink will be for sale. (Please bring cash)
DJ & Emcee entertainment all day.
EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING
All participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothes and shoes for the post-­­race party. You are going to get
wet and muddy!
FOOD & BEVERAGES
Each participant will receive one Free Beer Ticket, located in the race packet (must be 18 or over, younger will get free
soft-drink). IF YOU LOSE YOUR COUPON YOU WILL NOT GET A FREE DRINK! Food and beverage will be available for
sale so please bring cash. For winter events organizer provides Hot Grog instead beer in finish line.
RESPONSIBLE DRINKING
Spartan Race HQ reminds you to drink responsibly. This race is one of grit and determination that should not be
tarnished by the irresponsible acts of few.
MERCHANDISE
Spartan Race merchandise will be available to commemorate your epic achievements. Items range from 3 to 15 Euros.

FACILITIES
Porta-­­Potties will be located throughout the festival area.
Additional toilets can be used at the local restaurants and hotels.
Spartan style showers will not be in service for winter event.
There will be changing facilities for Men and Women available on site.
SPARTAN INFORMATION
No coolers or glass bottles allowed on property. Security will check for them.
No pets allowed -­­ Only Service Dogs with proper credentials are allowed.

Drink plenty of water before the race. There will be two water stations on course, but this course is brutal!
Come prepared.
Get a good night’s sleep. This race is no joke…
- No pop-up tents are allowed in the festival. Tent space is reserved for Sponsors only.
If you wear a GoPro, please make sure your contact information (name & phone
number) is somewhere on the camera. If you lose the camera on the course, this is the
only way we are able to identify.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather such as lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes and the like, Spartan R ace
reserves the right to eliminate obstacles, select portions of the course, or cancel the event in order to
ensure the safety of racers, volunteers and staff.
RESULTS DETAILS
- During the race, results can be found at the Results kiosk near the finish line.
- Results will be posted online immediately after runners finish the race on timing company web page ONLINE SYSTEM.
Please do not email asking when they will be posted.
- All complaints regarding the results, whether it is a poorly written name inclusion in the wrong category, missing team
member, errors in the measured times, or other athletes may report within 48 hrs after the event and directly to
timekeeping company. After this deadline will not be accepted any corrections and changes. All complaints regarding
the results, which will be addressed directly to the Spartan Race will not be considered and will not respond to them at
all.
- Official results will be published within 7 days on our website and this results will be reported to the USA.
