LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation, Inc. RESUMES OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES: (as of 28 September 2015) VICTOR GERARDO J. BULATAO Chairman Mr. Victor Gerardo J. Bulatao is also currently a Member of the Board of Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP). He is an NGO personality with a solid grounding in agrarian reform and rural development. He worked with the Federation of Free Farmers and Association of Major Religious Superiors in the 1970s and in various capacities in the Department of Agrarian Reform, including as Undersecretary in the 1990s. A former Executive Director of the KAISAHAN tungo sa Kaunlaran sa Kanayunan at Repormang Pansakahan and the Consortium for Advancing People's Participation through Sustainable Integrated Area Dvelopment (CAPP-SIAD), he now serves on the Boards of KAISAHAN, Balay Mindanaw Foundation Inc. (BMFI) and Quidan Kaisahan Negros Occidental (QK). These NGOs are into agrarian reform, participatory local governance, peace building, disater relief and rehabilitaion, and alternative learning systems. He has an AB Philosophy degree, cum laude, from the Ateneo de Manila University, and as an Edward S. Mason Fellow, a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. DOMINGO I. DIAZ Trustee Mr. Domingo I. Diaz has been a Member of the Board of Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) since 2010. He concurrently sits as a Member of the Board of LBP Leasing Corporation and serves as a Consultant of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). Prior to joining the public sector, Mr. Diaz worked in various capacities in companies in the Philippines and abroad. He was Principal and President of Diaz and Company and was President of American Consumer Laboratories Corp., both based in the U.S.A. He was Vice President of Ayala Corp. (Phil.) before he assumed the post of Managing Director of Ayala International PTE Ltd. In Singapore. Mr. Diaz was the Founding Director of Island Development Bank in Brunei and was also Managing Director of Sealion Hotels Ltd. In Singapore. Mr. Diaz was also a Director of various Ayala International Subsidiaries. He worked with Mobil Oil Phils. before joining Ayala International. Mr. Diaz graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in AB Economics. He earned his Masters in Business Administration degree from the Amos Tuck School Darmouth College in the U.S.A. CECILIA C. BORROMEO Trustee Mrs. Cecilia C. Borromeo is concurrently the Executive Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Agricultural and Development Lending Sector. She is also concurrently a Board Director of the LBP Leasing Corporaiton. Before joining LBP in 1989, Mrs. Borromeo held various responsible positions in the public sector such as the Department of Trade and Industry; the Human Settlements Development Corporation; the KKK National Secretariat; and the Ministry of Human Settlements. Mrs. Borromeo graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in BS Agribusiness. She earned her Master in Business Administration Degree from the De La Salle Business School and completed her Advanced Bank Management course from the Asian Institute of Management. ANDRES C. SARMIENTO Trustee Mr. Andres C. Sarmiento is also the Executive Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Operations Sector. Mr. Sarmiento is concurrently a Board Director of the LBP Leasing Corporation and the Small Business Corporation. He also sits as a Member of the Board of the Food Terminal, Inc. Mr. Sarmiento started working at LBP in 1975 and has held various executive positions in the Bank. Prior to joining LBP, he was Staff Auditor at Sycip, Gorres and Velayo and Co. from 1972 to 1973. Mr. Sarmiento earned his degree in BSBA major in Accounting from the Philippine School of Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant. JOCELYN DG. CABREZA Trustee Ms. Jocelyn dG. Cabreza is currently the Executive Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Branch Banking Sector. She also currently chairs the LBP Branch Operation and e-Banking Anti-Fraud Committees. She likewise holds a seat in the LBP Resource and Development Corporation. A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Cabreza is also a Master of Business Administration and a Career Executive Service eligible. RABBONI FRANCIS B. ARJONILLO Trustee Mr. Rabboni Francis B. Arjonillo is currently the Executive Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Treasury and Investment Banking Sector. Before he joined LBP in 2012, he was Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President at China Banking Corporation Philippines. Mr. Arjonillo is the founding Chairman of the Vietnam Bond Market Forum, was former Director and President of the Money Market Association of the Philippines and Director and Vice-President of the Associatione Cambiste Internationale (ACI Forex Philippines). He also founded the Junior Philippine Economics Society during his college days. He has an AB Economics Degree from De La Salle University and a Masters in Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management. Since 1980, he has also been teaching courses in foreign exchange, money market and derivatives for various educational and financial institutions and industry associations in the Philippines and Vietnam. Aside from his many accomplishments and affiliations in banking, Mr. Arjonillo is an active servant leader and member of the Board of Elders of the Couples for Christ (CFC) and an advocate of the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation. JOSELITO P. GUTIERREZ Trustee Mr. Joselito P. Gutierrez is also concurrently the Senior Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Mindanao Lending Group. He has been with LBP since 1988 as an Assistant Bank Manager, rose from the ranks and handled various bank operations nationwide. Mr. Gutierrez is a Certified Public Accountant completing his BSBA Accountancy at University of the East. LEILA C. MARTIN Trustee Ms. Leila C. Martin is also concurrently the First Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Lending Program Management Group. Her past positions with LBP include being the Vice President and Branch Manager of various Metro Manila LBP Branches. She was awarded the LBP Gawad Punla and Outstanding Branch Manager of the Year. Ms. Martin is a Career Executive Service Officer V. She completed her BS Mass Communication at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. CATHERINE ROWENA B. VILLANUEVA Trustee Ms. Catherine Rowena B. Villanueva is also concurrently the First Vice President of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) heading the Corporate Affairs Department. She also sits as the Director for Corporate Communications at the Philippine Marketing Association and the Director for Ways and Means of the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines. She has an AB Journalism Degree from the University of Sto. Tomas and completed the Marketing Strategy Course at the Asian Institute of Management. FR. XAVIER C. ALPASA, SJ Trustee Fr. Xavier C. Alpasa, SJ is also currently the Chairman of the Board and Founder of Rags2Riches, a social enterprise, and sits as Board Member in the St. Paul’s College Pasig, Institute of Social Order, JJC Institute for Church and Social Issues as well as Working Hands Foundation. He is also a Faculty member at the Ateneo Graduate School for Business. Some of Fr. Xavier’s awards and recognitions include being one of Esquire Philippines Best and Brighest, a CORDES Fellow and a TED Global Fellow. He has a Master of Arts in Theology and Master of Arts in Applied Business Economics. He was ordained as a Jesuit in April 2009. PETER ANDREW S. GUTIERREZ Trustee/Executive Director Mr. Peter Andrew S. Gutierrez is the Executive Director of the LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation, Inc (LCDFI). He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Jesuit Volunteers Philippines Foundation, Inc (JVPFI). Prior to joining LCDFI, he worked in various development organizations including Pambansang Kilusan ng mga Samahang Magsasaka (PAKISAMA) and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) working with farmers on agrarian reform, peacebuilding, and social enterprise development. Mr. Gutierrez graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in BS Management Engineering. He earned his Master of Arts degree in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University.
