• This is our second trip to Greece and our third trip to Italy.

We work with an excellent tour company called Explorica Inc.. All of your financial transactions will be
between Explorica and you. Please make sure you pay close attention to payment due dates when signing
up. In order to reduce costs all communication between you and Explorica will be through email. Your will not
receive a printed bill or invoice.
Eligibility
• 7th, 8th grade student at CLP Middle School or 9th-11th grade student who attended CLP.
• Attend Cache La Poudre Middle School or were a former student in good standing.
• Good Academic Standing (2.0 GPA or higher)
• No discipline issues or referrals
• Complete application essay

Parents:
• Please attach a deposit check made out to CLP Middle School for $200.
• This will serve as your deposit for the trip.
• If the trip is cancelled you will be refunded the entire amount.
• The deposit is non refundable if you decide to cancel your spot on the trip.
• On Friday, September 30, 2011 we will determine if there is enough interest in the trip.
• At this time we will confirm the tour dates with Explorica or cancel the entire trip and refund
your money.
• After we receive your check we will send you a website link via email for the second step in
application.
Students:
In order to be considered for the 2012 Europe Trip, you must answer the following questions in a
WELL WRITTEN, detailed essay. Essays must be one page or less.
• Why do you want to come on this trip?
• What would you add to the trip, in other words, what qualities do you have that will be a positive
influence?
After completion of the essay, turn into Mr. Denise or Mr. Jewett. After review you will be contacted
by one of the sponsors on how to sign up online for the trip. Information on the specifics of the trip
maybe found on the CLP website. Any questions please call Mr. Jewett at 488-7416, or email
gjewett@psdschools.org. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 in order to go on the trip and may
be excluded due to school discipline issues.
