at the regent hotel
our beautiful cocktail bar is based in the historic regent hotel, a grade II
listed building which was built in 1819. the hotel was one of the largest
in europe with over 100 rooms and it became a meeting place for
important locals to make decisions about the future of the town
during the early years many famous guests visited, even a young
princess victoria! it was eight years later that she returned as a queen
and, from the hotel balcony, granted the town the royal prefix
sip a cocktail and enjoy!
