Contest Terms and Conditions
1. RHB Bank Asean Basketball League (ABL) West Malaysia Dragon Ticket Giveaway
("Facebook Contest") is organized by RHB Bank Berhad ("RHB") and will run from 31
October 2015 till February 2016 ("Period"). RHB reserves the right with reasonable
notice to the Participants to change the duration, commencement and/or expiry date of
the Facebook Contest.
2. This Facebook Contest is open to anyone who has "Liked" the RHB Malaysia Facebook
page.
3. By participating in this Contest, all Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and
Conditions and all decisions made by RHB.
4. The following Participants shall not be eligible to participate in the Contest: - Permanent
and/or contract employees of RHB Group of Companies and/or their immediate family
members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters) and their representatives
and/or agents and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents,
brothers and sisters), including advertising & promotion agents and vendors who are
directly involved with this Facebook Contest. and/or individuals below 18 years of age.
5. The mechanics for the Facebook Contest are as follows: (a) Participants will need to answer correctly to the 20 questions posed by RHB
Malaysia Facebook in its page.
(b) There are 20 questions (2 questions for each rounds (10 rounds)
(c) Each round will have 2 questions. First question winners (2 winners) will each
win 1 pair of Premium tickets & second round question winners (3 winners) will
each win 1 pair of Normal tickets.
Note: Submissions MUST:i.
Contain correct answers;
ii.
Not contain profanity, nudity, or references to drugs/sex;
iii.
Not contain offensive, obscene or political material; and
iv.
Not contain trademarks, logos, slogans, company names, get up, copyrighted
material or brands of any third party
(b)
At the end of the Period, the Participants with correct answers will be randomly
drawn from this pool by RHB via randomizer
(c)
Winners will be contacted by RHB via Private Message on Facebook and the
Winners must respond to the Private Message confirming their Full Name, NRIC
Number and Contact number within thirty (30) minutes after winners name is
announced in RHB Group Facebook page in order to qualify for the Prize(s).
6. The Prize(s) to be won are as follows:
- 1 pairs X Home Game Normal Tickets (3 winners)
- 1 pairs X Home Game Premium Tickets(2 winners)
All tickets will be given away as single pairs (two (2) tickets per winner).
7. The Prizes(s):
- Will be collected by the Winners at the RHB Centre (Jalan Tun Razak) a day after
winners announcement on a specific time which will be informed to Winners via
Facebook Private Message.
8. In special situations and subject to the discretion of RHB, a Winner may nominate a
designated representative to collect his/her Prize. Written authorization and ID for both
the Winner and their representative will be required.
9. Prizes won are not exchangeable for cash or other deals or goods or credit of any kind.
10. RHB reserves the right with prior reasonable notice to substitute the Prize with other
item(s) of similar value.
11. The Participants hereby give their consent to and authorise RHB to publish and/or
display the names and/or photographs of the Participants of the Facebook Contest
and/or their participations
12. RHB reserves the right with prior reasonable notice to change, amend and/or vary the
mechanics of the Facebook Contest or to cancel or terminate the Facebook Contest.
13. RHB's decision on all matters relating to the Facebook Contest is final, binding and
conclusive. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protests will be entertained.
14. Under no circumstances shall RHB be liable for any loss and/or damage incurred by any
party (including without limitation to the loss of income, profits or goodwill whether the
same be direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive) nor shall
RHB be liable for any special damages to any party including third parties howsoever
arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the
Facebook Contest, and/or the Prize(s), even if RHB have been advised of the possibility
of such loss and/or damages in advance, and all such loss and/or damages have been
expressly excluded.
15. By participating in the Facebook Contest, Participants hereby agree and irrevocably and
unconditionally undertake to fully absolve RHB of all liabilities and agree to indemnify
RHB (on full indemnity basis) and hold RHB harmless against any claim by any third
party and against any loss, damage, cost or expense (including solicitor's fees and cost)
that RHB may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with the Facebook Contests,
nd/or the Prize(s).
16. The Facebook Contest is not organised by or associated with Facebook and Facebook
is free of any liabilities.
