The Calvin Johnson Jr. Foundation offers scholarships to graduating high school football student-athletes*.
Recipients are selected on the basis of scholastic achievement, leadership on and off the field, academic goals,
recommendations and financial need. The Calvin Johnson Jr. Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization founded in 2008 by Calvin Johnson Jr., All-Pro Wide Receiver of the Detroit Lions.
*This 2014 scholarship application is only for graduating high school football student-athletes
in Metro-Detroit and surrounding areas.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Attend high school as a graduating senior in Metro-Detroit or surrounding areas
GPA of 2.5 or higher
Completed application form and written statement
Official copy of high school transcript (including first semester of senior year)
Copy of SAT or ACT results
Copy of College/University Acceptance Letter
Two letter of recommendation (Football coach must provide a reference)
Must be available to attend the CJJRF Leadership Conference and Scholarship
Extravaganza on June 27-28, 2014
