KNOWN ISSUES
Windows Vista
All versions of the MS Windows Vista operating system requires substantial system resources to function. While DimensionU software can run
successfully on versions of Windows Vista, successful functionality depends strongly on a machine’s configuration, in excess of the resources a
system is using to run Vista. This is especially the case with Starter and Home Basic-run systems, but applies to all versions.
Windows Vista Minimum Requirements:
 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @1.67GHz or higher
 System Memory/RAM: 1GB or more
 Hard Drive Capacity: 1GB or more
 Graphics: OpenGL or DirectX Compatible 3D Graphics Accelerator with 128 MB of video memory & current drivers
 Sound: Soundcard with Speakers or Headphones with up-to-date drivers to hear game audio compatible with DirectX 10
In summary, to run DimensionU Software on Vista, your system must meet the proper Vista requirements, plus the minimum resources outlined in
our specifications.
VIDEO
 The KEY to success in ensuring that your video functions properly with DimensionU Games is to have the latest drivers installed for your video
card. This doesn’t guarantee that DimensionU Games will function with your video card (depending on a variety of factors), but it helps a lot!
 Some machines with older ATI and Intel cards may have issues
 Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family and Intel(R) Q965/Q963 Express Chipset Family cards do not appear in some cases to be sufficient
for optimal game performance.
 3DFX Voodoo 5: the final manufacturer drivers made for this card will NOT work with the software. A 3rd party (unsupported) driver that was
found for download could potentially work but is unsupported and not recommended.
 Radeon 8500LE: The drivers required to make this card work with Windows 98 are more than two years old and cause the game to crash.
 Joytech Apollo Kyro II: This card will crash to desktop without error upon loading the main menu. Driver support for this card is minimal at best.
 Riva TNT2: The card can operate, but not reliably.
NETBOOKS
All DimensionU Games require support of XGA (1024x768) resolution. Some netbooks only support 1024x600. This is a known issue on the below
systems (as well as many others). In addition, due to minimal processing power, most netbooks are otherwise insufficient for DimensionU Games.
Please be sure to test fully on netbooks (or any system) prior to installation.
