What makes someone a good role model to me
is how much have they worked to be what they are now.
They have to work hard for their families and make
the people they love happy. A good role model would have
to be happy and fun. I know it sounds dramatic
but that’s the way I talk about my mom.
She is a person who works to give me food, a good place
to live, and love. Maybe she is not the best mom ever, but
she loves me and works hard for me. She is also fun. For
example, when her favorite song comes on TV she
dances.I remember last week she was dancing when her
favorite song called Bailando came up on TV. She was
dancing really funny. She was moving her butt and
shaking all of her body. That made me feel happy.That’s
why she is my role model.
I admire her even more because my mom did not have a
good experience when she was a child. She didn’t have a
very good mom, but she is a very good mom for me. She
was a really poor girl. She lived at a place in Mexico where
houses were only made of paper, plastic and trash that
they found in the street. She had to walk for two and a half
hours to go to school. But she studied hard and got a
scholarship to go to college. Now she has a good job, and
we live in a regular house. We even have two dogs.
I’m very proud that I come from poor people because that
makes me stronger. My mom has shown me that
everything is possible if you work hard,my mom is a
woman that likes to play a lot. She knows how to make me
happy. And I know my mom more than anybody else in
this world. I love her and she is the best role model that I
could think of. My mom can’t be better than how she is
now.
