Since the field of Animal Science includes physiological aspects of food-producing animals, many of the
laboratories in our undergraduate classes involve invasive procedures or dissections. Are you willing to fulfill
TA responsibilities for these classes? YES

Please note that the Department of Animal Science does not provide departmental support to M.S.
students beyond their second year of graduate study. The final year of eligibility for departmental
support is the 5th year of a Ph.D. if you did not do a M.S. at UC Davis; or the 6th year of graduate study
that includes a 2 year M.S. study at UC Davis. Progress is more carefully scrutinized for the final year
of eligibility.
