Washington State Indian Reservations Eligible for Targeted Area Points To be eligible for Targeted Area Points, the entire project must be located on land within the boundaries of an eligible Indian Reservation or within the service area of an eligible tribe provided that the project is sponsored by the Indian tribe or triballydesignated housing entity. Indian Tribes eligible for these points are those where the percentage of households living below the poverty level is 20% or more of the total tribal households. For tribes not listed in this exhibit, the Commission will consider, on a case by basis, supplemental demographic data provided by the Applicant that demonstrates that 20% or more of the total Indian households are living below the poverty level. To be considered for these points using supplemental data, the Applicant must present their data to the Commission at least 30 days prior to the application deadline and receive pre-approval by the Commission.
