Students graduating from a Canyon Christian Schools Consortium
(CCSC) member high school may be eligible to receive up to $5,000 in additional GCU academic scholarships per year. Further, this academic scholarship is awarded for each year a CCSC member high school was attended, which could total up to $20,000 toward college tuition over the course of four years.
• Graduating students must complete the GCU admissions application and submit:
– Official transcripts demonstrating admissibility with a 3.0 or greater unweighted GPA or a minimum 19 ACT composite or 920
SAT (math and verbal only) score
– Graduated high school transcripts prior to Aug. 1, 2016
• CCSC Scholarship recipients must meet certain community service requirements while attending Grand Canyon University, including weekly Chapel attendance and participation in 20 hours per semester of university community-building activities
• Scholarship awards of $5,000 (for students living on campus) or
$2,500 (for students living off campus) are split equally for fall and spring semesters
• The scholarship is renewable based on the number of years a CCSC member high school was attended
• Scholarship recipients must maintain a full-time student status (12 or more credits/semester), remain in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.5 or above and uphold the ethical and moral values by which GCU stands
GCU scholarships are allowed to be combined up to the following limits: i. Chancellor/President Scholarship recipients in campus housing – up to $16,500 ii. All other scholarship recipients in campus housing – up to $14,000 iii. All scholarship recipients living off campus – up to $11,500 iv. Micro-scholarships may not be combined with any other form of
GCU-funded institutional aid or scholarships. Micro-scholarships may replace GCU institutional aid - up to $6,000 per academic year

Average tuition for the academic year 2015-16 after scholarships is approximately $8,300. Scholarships may be awarded based on incomplete transcripts. At the time in which final, official transcripts are received, GCU reserves the right to rescind or modify the scholarship if it is determined that eligibility was not achieved. To be eligible, students must meet scholarship requirements and be fully admissible to the university. GCU reserves the right to decline scholarship awards for any reason. If a student does not meet the minimum renewal criteria, their scholarship will be forfeited. GCU reserves the right to change scholarship awards at any time without notice.
