POSITION ANNOUNCMENT OFFICE CLERK OFF CAMPUS COLLEGE TRANSPORT Off Campus College Transport at Binghamton University is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of office clerk. The office clerk plays a pivotal role in the efficiency of operation and organization of office activities. OCCT serves the transportation needs of the students of Binghamton University and is a student centered operation which includes student drivers, administrative coordinators, and dispatchers. The office clerk is one of three professional employees, which are supervised by a board of directors. The board of directors is comprised of representatives from the student body, university staff, and employees of OCCT. The office clerk is responsible for: Maintaining an employee data base Compiling and maintaining payroll Processing company invoices and vouchers Recording and invoicing charter bus billing Archiving records on a regular basis Managing and arbitrate late night and charter bidding process Managing office inventory These duties require that the office clerk have: Two year degree minimum Proficiency with Microsoft office with particular emphasis on word and excel Experience working with Microsoft Access and general database skills General organizational and interpersonal skills The office clerk position is a part time position (20 hours per week) of OCCT Inc. that reports to the Director and assists the Director in the supervision of OCCT coordinators and receptionists. The office clerk compensation will be $12.00 per hour.
