21st May (Wednesday) 7 p.m. (place: see on the website or on the information board
from week 14 Thursday).
Offered grades:
The offered grades have to be registered into the lecture book on 28th May
(Wednesday) LSB F.015-016
14: 00 o’clock: Gr. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
14: 15 o’clock: Gr. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Dentists
The offered grades can be accepted only personally.
If you don’t register your offered grade on this day, it is automatically erased (in
special cases you can accept it previously in a letter).
For getting the offered grade you have to register for 29th May (Thursday) on the
NEPTUN, too!!!!!
This is not an exam date, it is only for acceptance of the offered grade! You can register
for this date until 28th May 12 a.m.
If you don’t register for this date in time, you will loose your offered grade.
(If you would like to take an improvement exam on 30st May, you can register for this
exam on 29th from 9-12 a.m.)
Grade for the semester exam will be offered on the base of the collected points,
for all those students who collected at least 60 points from the total points. Grades: 2
(pass) 60-69.5 points, 3 (satisfactory) 70-79.5 points, 4 (good) 80-89.5 points and 5
(excellent) 90-100 points.
You can improve the offered grade once in the exam period (on the improvement
exams, we always count the better grade, so you can not loose your offered result). You
have to bring improvement exam bill for the beginning of the exam.
Those students who did not collect 60 points must take the exam.

Registration for the exam:
On the NEPTUN, till 12:00 a.m. on the previous workday.
Time and place of the exam:
On exam days students have to go at 8:30 a.m. to the place of the test writing. List
of the places and names will be hanged on the information board of the department
(LSB downstairs, 1st corridor), on the previous day at 4 p.m. You have to go to that
lecture hall, where your name is written in the list.
For the exams you have to bring lecture book and student card. You can start the
exam if you are registered for the exam date on the NEPTUN!
Results: depending on the number of students we will announce it in the afternoon of
the exam day or on the following day morning. The exact time and place will be
announced at the beginning of the test. You can check your test only at that time.
Postponement:
Through the NEPTUN system, till 24:00 two working days before the exam.
If you are registered for an exam day, but you don’t come, you will loose a chance.
Improvement exam:
Students can take one improvement exam in the exam period. We always count the
better grade! Both the offered grade and exam grade can be improved. You have to bring
improvement exam bill for the beginning of the exam. You can take improvement exam
on all exam dates.
Semester exam:
„A”, „B”, and „C” chance exams are all written exams, but if you fail on the „C” chance
exam you will get oral questions, too.
The test includes 40 single choice test questions, each correct answer worth 1,25 points
(max. 50 points together). At least 30 points (60 %) must be collected for a passing
grade. Grades are increased by five points: 30-34.5 pass; 35-39.5 satisfactory; 40-44.5
good; 45-50 excellent.
You have to bring “B” and “C” chance exam bill for the beginning of the exam.
Collecting points for the 2nd year final exam:
Those students who collect at least 220 points (Dentistry students: 210 points) during the
three semesters taught by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and
have at least 60 points (Dentistry students: 55 points) from each of the three semesters
(Molecular Biology, Biochemistry I., Biochemistry II.) will be exempted from having to
write a written part of the biochemistry and molecular biology final exam.
Exam results are also counted (points multipled by two in this case).
