The Ensign - November 2012(The Ensign Magazine) by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints One of my favorite nighttime activities is to read aloud with my husband just before we go to bed. We climb in bed, have prayers, then read one article in the Ensign magazine aloud and discuss it before we read other things or turn out the light. The talks contained therein are so uplifting and motivating spiritually that we both feel that we sleep better with those thoughts in our heads. I revere the prophet and apostles' messages especially as in this November issue which contains the talks given at the church world-wide conference in October each year. One that we read recently was on being a Christian Christian! It included a list of ways we can be more Christian in our everyday living through faith, sacrifice, service, and a half dozen more ways. with examples given. I will reread this issue again to continue to have those messages "written in my heart."|I especially enjoyed: Of Regrets and Resolutions by Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf See Others as They May Become by Pres. Thomas S. Monson Where is the Pavilion? by Pres. Henry B. Eyring Converted Unto the Lord by Elder David A. Bednar |Unfortunately I haven't "mastered" these talks before the next General Conference begins, but I enjoyed reviewing them. President Uchtdorf is always one of my favorite speakers.|Wonderful discourses on the Restoration of the Gospel, the Doctrine of Christ and the many doctrines and principles which will lead us to emulate the Savior|I love reading the conference talks again! I learn so much!
