STRATEGY
As agreed upon the meeting of the Board in Mexico City last January 25-26, 2013, the following are the provisional metrics
by which progress towards achieving the research goals and objectives will be measured at the level of the IALU. Targets,
in terms of the identified metrics have likewise been set with reference to Encuentro XI 2015 to be held in Bogota,
Colombia.

OTHER LA SALLE RESOURCES
RIILSA is a network of science and technology that started its consolidation in October 2000 at the University La Salle
Bogotá at the First International Congress on Research within Lasallian Institutions of Higher Education in Latin America
that brought together institutions from Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Spain and Colombia. Its emergence is a response to the
guidelines of the "World Conference on Higher Education" UNESCO held in Paris in October 1998, where it was
suggested that networking was a priority for higher education internationalization and cooperation in areas such as
