POLICY ON ATTENDANCE OF VETERAN OFFICERS FOR
REGIMENT OF ARTILLERY THIRTEENTH REUNION – 2015
1.
The 13th Reunion of the Regiment of Artillery is being conducted in Nasik and Devlali
from 03 to 04 December 2015. The tradition of Reunion exists since 1951 when Gunner
veterans met at Artillery Centre Nasik Road for the first time after Independence and it was
decided to conduct a Reunion every five years. The tradition has ever since been followed.
However, the strength of veterans has increased manifold.
2.
Due to government policies on curtailing budgets on such events, there is also a
constraint of expenditure. Hence, part of the expenses of catering, accommodation and
transportation will have to be borne by the attendees, in order to enable the organisers to
conduct this event in a manner befitting the glorious tradition. This is being done by way of
contribution from the attendees.
3.
The response for attending the Reunion has been overwhelming. Constraints of the
number of guest rooms available is the only limiting factor which has mandated restricting
the number of attendees. Applications will be processed only if the veteran officer
intimates his willingness to attend. In order to prioritise and vet the applications to confirm
attendance, the applicants will be placed in categories in the order of receipt of applications
as under :(a)
