Information Systems
MBA with specialization in Information Technology Management helps you become senior executives and
managers. As leaders, you play a role in solving business problems associated with the effective use of
information technology to deliver the desired results for organizations. The program immerses students in the
most relevant issues, techniques, and tools to enable them to make the most informed decisions from a
strategic and practical perspective.
Eligibility: Three year Graduation. Min Duration: Two years (4 Semesters). Max Duration: 4 years.
MBA will be awarded after successful completion of all the four semesters.
Fee Details:
Admission Fee : Dhs.1000
Course Fee per semester : Dhs.5,500
Eligibility for Lateral Entry to the Second Semester of M.B.A.:
1. BBA / BBM or equivalent from recognized University OR
2. 3 year graduation with PGDBA from AICTE recognised Institution OR
3. 3 year graduation with 6 month Management Diploma from an Institution and minimum 1 year managerial / supervisory experience in
reputed organisation thereafter OR
4. 3 year graduation and min 3 year Managerial / Supervisory experience in reputed organization.
But, these Lateral Entry students have to pay the fees and appear for the first semester examinations and clear them.
Examinations: Generally held twice in a year - in April and October.
Evaluation: 1) Continuous Evaluation 30%, 2) Term end Examination 70%
Continuous evaluation is done through assignments. The student’s performance will be evaluated based on both continuous
evaluation and term end examination by Sikkim Manipal University (SMU).

A - Excellent (+70%)
B - Very Good (+60%)
C - Good (+50%)
D - Satisfactory (+40%)
E - Failure
