Degree Objective-The Bachelor of Science in Psychology provides students with a strong foundation in general psychology. Students gain
insight into the cognitive and affective processes that underlie individual human development and behavior. Courses in this program are
designed to provide supervisors, managers and other professionals with greater skills in critical thinking, communication, collaboration and
information utilization. The courses in this program do not have a clinical emphasis and do not lead to professional licensure.

7) A maximum total of 30 credits may be earned from the following national testing programs (CLEP, Excelsior, Berlitz, NLN, AP, DLPT, College Level GED, ACE Registry and DANTES).
8) Students in Track A must include: COMM/215 equivalent or higher, and GEN/201. Please contact your adviser at University of Phoenix for additional assistance.
9) Students in Track B must include: ENG/147, HUM/115, and GEN/127. Please contact your adviser at University of Phoenix for additional assistance.
10) Accelerated & Standard (A&B) Pathways-Your results on the Pathway Diagnostic will determine whether you will be placed in the Accelerated Pathway (A Track) or the standard pathway (B
Track). If you are placed in the Accelerated Pathway, you will be required to successfully complete GEN/201 as the first course in your program. If you are placed in the standard pathway, you will
be required to successfully complete the following 3 courses prior to enrolling in any other course: GEN/127, ENG/147, HUM/115. Please consult your Adviser at University of Phoenix for additional
