6 If you are HOMESCHOOLED, you will need
to complete the following additional steps:
Submit official eligible SAT or ACT scores (www.
collegeboard.org) or take the Compass placement
exam. Qualifying scores are as follows:

2 Register for your classes- it’s easy!
Simply log on to www.gtc-web.org to register
Select Enter Student/Faculty
Secure Area
User ID: your student ID or
social security number
PIN: your birth date (MMDDYY)
Select Student Service &
Financial Aid
Select Registration
Select Register for Classes
Select Select Term
and click Submit
Highlight the appropriate
subject in the scroll down box
3 Pay your fees by the payment deadlines.
View your Fee Assessment on www.gtc-web.org
Students are responsible for late fees, lab fees,
and supply fees
Pay online by credit card
Pay in person at the Bursar desk
(cash, check, money order, debit/credit card)
4 Contact your high school counselor.
Bring a copy of your college schedule to your high
school counselor to complete part 1-2 of the MOWR
funding app
If you are a home school student, complete part 1-2
of the MOWR funding app and submit it to
HSAdmissions@GwinnettTech.edu
Do not make any changes to your GTC schedule after
your HS counselor has approved your classes.

5 Prepare for class by purchasing your books.
Complete the textbook agreement form available at
the bookstore or the MOWR office
Take form to Student Bookstore
Get your student ID badge for $6 in the Student
Bookstore
Click on Course Search
Choose the appropriate
class and click View Sections
Select the left box on the
appropriate section
Click Register
6 Attend class and prepare for success!
Mark your calendar for the first day of class and get
yourself connected to our social media sites
Print a copy of your schedule before classes start
and arrive early to locate your classrooms
No parking permit is needed to park on campus—
park only in student-designated lots

click the Blackboard icon on the right
Visit myCampus.GwinnettTech.edu to set up your
single sign-on access to Blackboard, Banner-web,
and Student Email
