Bailey, Damon
Bedford North Lawrence
1990 Indiana Mr. Basketball and Trester Award winner.Scored 3,134 career points at
Bedford North Lawrence, which still ranks #1 in Indiana high school basketball history.
Averaging 31.2 ppg, he led Bedford North Lawrence to 1990 state championship title. Named
Naismith National Player of the Year and McDonald’s All-American.BNL team was 1989 HOF
Classic Runners-up to defending state champion Lawrence North; Bailey had 26 points, 7
rebounds and named to the all-tournament team. Four-time 1st team all-state, two-time
Gatorade Indiana Player of the Year and 1990 Gatorade National Player of the Year. Received
full-ride athletic scholarship to Indiana University under HOF coach Bob Knight where he was
named Big 10 Freshman of the Year, an All-American his senior year, won the most games in a
four-year career and graduated as only player to be ranked in both scoring and assists. He
played professionally for the Indiana Pacers and the Ft. Wayne Fury. He is owner of Hawkins
Bailey Warehouse, plus an assistant women’s basketball coach for Butler University. Married,
he resides in Bedford and has three children.
Darner, Linc
Anderson Highland
1990 Indiana All-Star.Holds both Anderson Highland and Madison County’s singlegame scoring record with 53 points.Averaged 23.7 ppg as a senior for Anderson Highland.
U.P.I. and A.P.2nd team all-state, McDonalds’ Kentucky Derby Festival Classic and East/West
All-Star Classic team member. Led Anderson Highland to two conference championships and
two Top 20 state rankings. Received full-ride athletic scholarship to Purdue University where
his team made three NCAA appearances, 1991 Gold Medal Olympic Festival, 1992 NIT
appearance, 1994 Big 10 champs and was two-time team captain. Was an assistant coach at
Murray State (1995-97), Lincoln Memorial University (1997-98) and Ashland University (19982002). He is entering his ninth season as head men’s basketball coach at Florida Southern
College (182-71 record preseason) and resides in Lakeland, Florida. Married, he has two
children.

Graduated as2 all-time leading scorer (1,478 career points - 20.2 career ppg) and 3rd alltime leading rebounder (648 rebounds – 8.9 rpg), setting single-season scoring (605) and career
scoring average records on Loogootee teams that went 62-11 over three seasons. Led Loogootee
to two Sweet 16 appearances, named three-time Evansville Courier 1st team all-area, A.P. allstate, twice Bloomington Herald all-state and played in top 40 workout. He averaged 23.3 ppg
as a senior and ranks 1st in career field goals, 3rd in rebounding and 3rd in career free-throws at
Loogootee. Received full-ride athletic scholarship to University of Southern Indiana
(USI).Academic all-Conference, starter for both 1993 22-7 NCAA Division II tournament
appearance and 1994 28-4 GLVC champ and National Runner-Up teams. Has high school
basketball and tennis coaching experience. In his fourth year as Barr-Reeve Middle/High
School Principal, during his tenure their volleyball team has won a state championship and
basketball has been state runner-up. Residing in Montgomery, he is married with two children.
Hatcher, Elliot

Set career scoring (1,674 points), steals (307) and assists (267) records at Ritter. Averaged
27.8 points and 3.6 steals per game as a senior, setting school single-season records for points
(632), scoring average and steals (88). Named to 1990 Indianapolis all-city team and 1990 Ben
Davis all-sectional.Three-time AAU team MVP for five AAU National Championship teams.
Nominated for McDonald’s All-American team. Played and graduated in two years at San
Diego MESA Junior College. Named MVP, Regional Player of the Year, all-defensive team, 1st
team all-Golden Coast and Regional Player of the Year. Played one season with Grayson
County Junior College and named Regional Player of the Year. Finished college career at
Kansas State University and averaged 14.9 ppg. His 1996 Kansas State team made an NCAA
tourney appearance, and he was named team MVP, 1st team all-Big 8, 1st team all-defense and
1994 all-newcomer team. Holds school record for most steals in a game (11). Played 17 years
professional basketball overseas; named French Pro B League MVP and Romania-American
MVP. Just finishing his professional basketball career in France, he is now a paraeducator and
head basketball coach at Stucky Middle School. Residing in Wichita, Kansas, he is engaged to
be married and has three children.
Haynes, Noah
Frontier
State’s leading scorer in 1990 averaging 33.8 ppg, he scored 1,571 career points, 778
points in a season, shot 89.9% from free-throw line, made 72 three-point field goals in a season
and holds record of 14 assists in a single-game. Led Frontier High School to two conference
championships, one sectional championship and one White County title. Played college
basketball for Indiana State for three years then transferred to the University of West Florida
(UWF). Averaged 15.1 points and shot 82% from the line at UWF. Coached JV boys’ basketball
at Wes-Del, youth basketball, varsity head coach at Brebeuf for two years and has been the
strength, track and cross country coach at Brebeuf for 17 years. Residing in New Palestine, he is
a health/physical education teacher at Brebeuf. Married, he has five children.
Hisle, Mark
Terre Haute North
Three-year starter scored 1,309 career points and averaged 26.7 ppg as a senior for Terre
Haute North High School (19-7 record). Holds single-game scoring record of 56 points, career
free-throw and single season free-throw percentages, plus hit 162 career 3-pointers.Scored
game-high 24 points in Patriots’ 56-54 semi-state loss to Bedford North Lawrence in 1990.Twotime all-sectional, two-time team MVP and team captain, plus named all-regional and all-semistate. 1st team Louisville Courier Journal and Bloomington Herald-Times, 1st team all-stateand
Player of the Year for Terre Haute Tribune area, 2nd team A.P. and U.P.I., Hoosier Basketball
Magazine and also to Jim Kasberg’s Top 100 Players in the Nation. Top 10 seniors state of
Indiana, Nike’s top 150 players in the nation and played in East/West All-Star game. Received
Division 1 basketball scholarship to the University of Evansville. He is the President and owner
of Mark Hisle, Inc. and The Really Good Stuff, Inc. Residing in Evansville, he is married with
three children.
Johnson, Jamar
Concord 1990
1990 Indiana All-Star.Led Concord to two state runner-up finishes in 1988 and 1990.
Career record of 74-6 in three seasons never losing a home game. Averaged 22.7 ppg as a junior
and 19.4 ppg as a senior.Named best player in Elkhart County history behind Shawn Kemp by
Elkhart Truth Newspaper.Was inducted into Elkhart County Sports Hall of Fame. Received
athletic scholarship to University of Nebraska where he averaged 10.7 ppg and 3.1 rpg in his
career. Scoring 927 career points, his teams made back-to-back-to-back NCAA tourney
appearances and won the Big 8 tourney championship his final year. Best known for hitting
game winning buzzer beater to upset #2 Kansas Jayhawks. Residing in Tempe, Arizona, he is
the Chief Commissioner, CBL and Compensation Manager at CBL Worldwide, Inc.-NPL
Construction, Inc. He has two sons and two daughters.
Johnson, Marcus
Pike
1990 Indiana All-Star. Three-time all-conference, three-time all-sectional, two-time allregional, two-time all-state, two-time all-Marion County and two-time all-Metro Indy. Played
under HOF coach Ed Siegel at Pike and won four conference titles, three sectionals, three
Marion Co. titles, one regional championship, and the Red Devils were ranked three of the four
years he played. Four-year letterman started center three years and receiving Team Rebound
award, was team captain and team MVP. Averaged 14.2 ppg and 7.1 rpg as a senior, setting
Pike school records for career (262) and single-season blocked shots (105). Received athletic
scholarship to Indiana State University where he was a three-year starter, playing in 70 games
and graduating as school’s 5th all-time shot blocker (66). Residing in Dayton, Ohio, he has been
employed with Frito Lay for 15 years. Married, he has one child.
Lowery, Chris
Evansville Harrison
First team all-city and Kiwanis award winner led Evansville Harrison to 66-21 career
record and averaged 15 ppg as a senior. Received basketball scholarship to Southern Illinois
University Carbondale and played all four years. Averaged 11.9 ppg as a junior and 10.2 ppg as
a senior, named MVC all-conference and two-time all-conference honorable mention. SIU
Carbondale team made two appearances to NIT tourney and two NCAA first rounds. MVC
conference champs (1992) and back-to-back MVC tourney champs junior and senior years.
Voted to SIU Carbondale’s all-century team this year. Has head coaching career record of 145115 and was named MVC Coach of the Year twice while coaching at his college alma mater. He
is now the associate head coach under head coach Bruce Weber at Kansas State University.
Residing in Manhattan, Kansas, he is married with four children.

1990 Indiana All-Star.Three-time all-Marion County, all-conference and allsectional.Two-time Indy Star all-Metro, all-regional and Conference Player of the Year. 1st team
all-state, all-semi-state, McDonald’s All-American, Marion Co. Player of the Year, Marion Co.
Athlete of the Year, all-Final Four and Parade All-American is Lawrence North’s all-time
leading scorer (1,874 points), rebounder (1,264) and blocked shots leader (339). Set school
records in game, season and career scoring, game, season and career rebounds, game, season
and career blocks and free throws made in a season. Averaged 20.5 ppg as senior. Played
under HOF coach Jack Keefer and led Lawrence North to the 1989 HOF Classic title and 1989
IHSAA state championship title. Received athletic scholarship to the University of North
Carolina (UNC) and averaged 11.7 ppg and 6.8 rpg in his career (1,627 career points and 941
rebounds). Earned a myriad of awards including named two-time All-American (1993 and
1994), 1994 CoSIDA1st team Academic All-American, and twiceACC all-conference. As starting
center, led UNC to the 1993 National title and team was named to John R. Wooden AllAmerican team, he ranks 8th in career rebounds (941), 9th in highest field goal % (.585) and in
single game blocked shots (6). Drafted 9th overall in 1994 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics and
played eight seasons with six teams. Scored 2,071 career points and grabbed 2,159 rebounds in
NBA action. He is now the Major Gift Director for the Rams Club at UNC. Married, he resides
in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Moore Jr., William (Clyde)
Southport
Leading scorer for Southport his sophomore, junior and senior (18.4 ppg) seasons
scoring 1,296 career points, which ranks third in school history. Played under Bill Springer, he
led Southport to three sectional, one regional and one semi-state championship. Scored 40
points in 1990 semi-state championship win over New Castle and put up 28 points in the
afternoon game of the state finals, in Southport’s 58-55 loss to eventual state champion Bedford
North Lawrence. Holds single-game scoring record (42 points) at Daytona Beach State
University where his jersey has been retired. Finished college career at Murray State and was
selected team captain senior year. NIT and NCAA tournament appearances and conference
champions, graduated with 3-point record. Played professional basketball in Melbourne,
Australia and also in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Has been a Material Handler for GFC
Delta Computer since 1999 and resides in Cloverdale. He has four children.
Parks, Juda
East Chicago Central
1990Indiana All-Star. Three-time all-area, three-time all-sectional, two-time all-state and
all-regional. Led East Chicago Central to two sectional titles, two Turkey tourney
championships and one regional championship. Averaged 19.4 ppg as a senior, 14.1 ppg and
6.7 rpg in career, plus graduated as all-time leader in points (1,135) and steals (235), ranked 2nd
in career rebounds (533), plus 3rd in career assists (332) and blocks (53). Received athletic
scholarship to Indiana State University, then transferred to Western New Mexico University
after two years. Averaged 23.4 ppg as a senior and named 1st team all-conference and Pacific
West Co-Player of the Year. His teams won Pacific West conference championship twice and
went to the Division II Sweet Sixteen in 1995. Played professionally in Australian Pro League
and averaged 19.6 ppg and 5 apg. Two-time World Police and Fire Games basketball gold
medalist was an assistant coach on 2007 E.C. Central state championship team. 16 years
coaching basketball, football and baseball. He is now a city councilman, police officer and
deputy coroner for the City of East Chicago and Lake County Coroner’s Office. Residing in East
Chicago, he has one son.

1990 Indiana All-Star.1st team all-conference, 2nd team all-state, all-sectional, all-regional,
all-semi-state, National Honors Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and member of Team
Indiana AAU National championship team. Averaged 14.6 ppg as a senior and scored 1,005
career points while leading Northfield High School to three sectionals, one regional and one
McDonalds/Days Inn Classic championship with twin brother, Jon. Received athletic
scholarship from the University of Notre Dame scoring 255 points and grabbing 336 rebounds
in 4-year career. The Fighting Irish were the 1992 NIT runners-up. Also played professionally
overseas in Setubal, Portugal and has youth basketball coaching experience. He has been the
owner of Closet Concepts Inc. since 1996 and resides in Pendleton. Married, he has four
children.
Ross, Jon
Northfield
1990 Indiana All-Star. Three-time 1st team all-conference, all-sectional, all-semi-state, 2nd
team all-state, 1990 AAU National title- Team Indiana, National Honors Society and Fellowship
of Christian Athletes. Averaged 20.3 ppg as a senior and 18.5 ppg as a junior, scoring 1,296
career points at Northfield High School.Led Northfield to three sectionals, one regional and one
McDonalds/Days Inn Classic championship with twin brother, Joe. Received athletic
scholarship from the University of Notre Dame and averaged 6 ppg and 4.6 rpg as a senior. The
Fighting Irish were the 1992 NIT runners-up. Played professionally in Setubal, Portugal and
has both youth and high school basketball coaching experience. He has been the
owner/president of Closet Concepts Inc. since 1994 and resides in Roanoke, Indiana. Married,
he has three children.
Sylvester, Jeermal
South Bend Riley
1990 Indiana All-Star. 1990 Metro Player of the Year averaged double-double of 21.7
points and 13.9 rebounds per game as a senior. Led South Bend Riley to NIC, sectional and
regional championships same year. Named 1st team all-NIC, all-sectional, all-regional and allsemi-state. Received basketball scholarship to Ball State University and scored 1,238 career
points and grabbed 529 career rebounds. Led Cardinals to CVC and MAC regular season and
tournament championships his junior year. Averaged 16.6 ppg and 7.1rpg as a senior. Twotime MAC 1st team all-conference, two-time Cardinal Varsity Club all-Classic team, three-time
Spark award winner, MVP of Big Island Invitational, and MAC Player of the Week. He had
professional playing career in France, Argentina and Singapore. He is a College Readiness and
Community Outreach Coordinator for Jobs for America’s Graduates/Work One. Residing in
South Bend, he has three children.
Trice, Travis
Princeton
1990 Indiana All-Star.Led Princeton High School to back-to-back Big 8 Conference
championships and the 1989 sectional title. Three-time all-Big 8 conference and all-county, plus
two-time all-state. Graduated with career scoring record of 1,222 points. Averaged 18.8 ppg,
9.3 apg, 6.3 rpg and 4.1 spg as a senior. Had single-game highs of 37 points, 12 rebounds, 13
assists and 10 steals. He recorded a quadruple-double against South Knox: 23 points, 12
rebounds, 12 assists and 10 steals. Received athletic scholarship and played two seasons with
Purdue, then two seasons with Butler. Averaged 15.0 ppg, 4.7 apg and 5.2 rpg as a senior at
Butler. Made NCAA tourney appearance with Purdue and two NIT appearances, one with
Purdue and one with Butler. College career highs of 28 points, 11 assists, 11 rebounds and 9
steals. He has been the head boys’ basketball coach for Wayne High School in Ohio for the last
seven years with a career record of 132-36. Named Coach of The Year five times, his teams have
won six sectionals and two district championships. Along with coaching basketball, he resides
in Dayton, Ohio and is an agent for State Farm. Married, he has five children.
Waddell, Matthew

1990 Indiana All-Star.1 team all-state and All-CIC player led Tipton (62-11) to three Pilgrim
Cups, two sectionals and one regional championship. Averaged 32.2 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 7.0 apg
as a senior. Had career highs of 51 points (1,677 career) and 16 assists in a single game (674
career), hit the most free-throws in a season (157), most rebounds in a season (576) and had 332
career steals, which are all Tipton High School records. Received athletic scholarship to Purdue
University where he was a starter on two Big Ten Championship teams and also started on Elite
8 NCAA tourney team under HOF coach Gene Keady. Bob King and Red Mackey award
winner scored 1,170 points in 127 games, ranks 6th in free-throw % (82%), 12th in steals, 6th in
assists and 10th in 3-point field goals, plus a member of Purdue’s “Top 30 All-Legend Team”.
Has coached his son in grade school basketball and is a Director of External ManufacturingNorth/South America for Eli Lilly & Company. Residing in Carmel, he is married with three
children and two step-children.
Yoder, Ryan
Westview
Named to Bloomington Herald-Telephone’s 1990 Small School all-state team.Totaled
1,594 career points averaging 27.5 ppg as a senior and 21.1 ppg as a junior, leading Westview
High School to three conference championships, one conference tourney title and one sectional
title. 1990 South Bend Area Co-Player of the Year, Fort Wayne Area Player of the Year, South
Bend Sunburst All-Star game MVP and Indiana All-Star game 3-point champion. He graduated
in top five in all-time combined scoring for two brothers (Rusty Yoder) in Indiana basketball
history, also graduated with school record of 356 career assists. Received athletic scholarship to
Colorado State University (CSU) and averaged 13.1 ppg and 6.7 apg as a senior. Graduated
with career free-throw percentage (89%) and career assists (529) records. Three-time “Best
Represents Ram Basketball” award-winner, 1st team all-conference and 1st team all-region at
CSU. Participated in Denver Nuggets rookie camp and Rocky Mountain shoot-out, Denver
Nuggets training camp and played in exhibition games with the NBA team. He has directed 35
youth basketball camps and is a managing director/wealth management advisor for
Northwestern Mutual. Residing in Fort Collins, Colorado, he is married with four children.
