Snowboarding feels good. Sliding down a hill sideways opens up infinite possibilities to express freedom. What is the best snowboarding memory that pops into your mind? Whether it happened yesterday, or you have to dig through the dusty analog files of the old days to see it clearly… I bet you’re not the only person in the dream. There are other people there, laughing, smiling, sharing the feeling, and stoking the excitement. Everything is better when shared with friends. Airblaster started 9 years ago with a simple mission to remind all of us what makes snowboarding awesome: It’s a great way to express freedom with your friends. It’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Don’t be held back by the narrow expectations of snowboard critics or fashionistas. Find your own style, and let it set you free. Get with your friends, pitch in some gas money, and drive to the spot.

Find as much snow as you can, strap in, and do whatever you want. You’ll need warm, waterproof clothes.

We make those. We dream them up the way they should be designed… By people who ragdoll through snow in the name of fun, progression, and freedom. And we don’t think that waterproof stuff should look lame. As long as we’re designing this stuff, we want it to look good and make you look good.

A 3-layer, fully seam taped, 20K/20K pant, with…. cargo pockets? Yep, that’s right folks, we are making this happen. Not gangster baggy, 1992 low-cargo 9mm-slappinon-your-knee cargos. Nope. In our experience, real gangsters don’t spend much time summiting mountains for first descents. What does 4LOCO stand for? I have no idea, but it sounds dangerous. I do know that this pant was designed by a loco dude—Nick Dirks—for Loco dudes (you) to shred in. The fit of this pant is based on the famous Airblaster Sissy Pant. Nick gave this one a late-80’s makeover, to bring us all back to the days when snowboarding was about expressing freedom and being as wild as you want to be! Oh, wait, that describes EVERY day snowboarding with

This one is just the best. When Nick Dirks took a spring trip to Russia, he brought one jacket with him: The Freedom Pullover. Why? Elbow Patches, duh. In case

Nick were to fall over onto his elbow… he would want his elbow to be protected by an elbow patch. In fact, with the exception of the first sentence, this has been purely speculation. I really do not know why this is one of Nick’s favorite Airblaster jackets. Maybe its just because the Pullover Jacket looks damn good. I mean, it fits right, and has a long slit on the side so it’s easy to take on and off. Whatever the case, at least give your elbows what they really want: a little extra protection when you’re bashing around, having fun, slashing snow, and flying through the air… just for the halibut.

I’m pretty sure that monkeys don’t need pants, but if I get stuck in a snowstorm,

I’m going to want to be wearing some Travier Pants. They are good, simple snow pants that fit awesome and protect you against the elements. With a healthy dose of AIR on the back lower leg, they may help you Stay Wild. This is no guarantee, since the amount of fun you have while shredding is actually much more dependent on your positive mental attitude and willingness to express freedom without boundaries. So, even though the Travier Pants can't actually give you any super powers to Stay Wild, neither are they Wildly expensive.

He progresses through ideas, styles, and tricks with an ease that amazes, and at a speed that can’t be matched. As soon as you think you’re closing in on him, BAM, he’s off again in a different direction. This year, Jed switched up his whole jacket style, taking a classic parka, adding his signature moves, and making it fresh all over again. He kept it bare bones simple, with no extra junk to get in the way of the snowboarding. So whether you want to go monotone or 2 tone, you’re going to look good doing it. This is our slim fit pant, offered in twill with slight mechanical stretch to it. My

Brother’s Pants stretch when you need, and break in perfectly, without blowing out. They are based on Nick Dirks original design for a durable, waterproof, slim fitting snow pant that is at home on the streets or in neck deep powder. Initially, we teased Nick that it looked like he stole his Sisters Pants, and when he got tired of that one, he renamed his units the Sissy

Pants. And when our Women Team riders started wearing Sissy Pants, and requesting smaller sizes, we knew it was time for this. So with a couple of small tweaks in fit, we developed the equally bad ass version for women, aptly named My Brother’s Pant. Here they are in all of their tough, slim, sexy glory.
