Region 4 online TExES preparation
sessions are two-week, self-directed,
and self-taught courses designed to prepare
participants for their certification exam. Each course
contains sample test questions by domain and a brief outline of
the domains and competencies.
How do I register?

Once registered for a course, allow 24 business hours to receive a confirmation e-mail from Region 4 with
your user name and password.
If you are enrolled in the Region 4 Teacher Certification program, there is no need to take these courses as it is a repeat of the course work.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Supplemental

Special Education Supplemental (EC–12)
Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) EC–12
Provides essential information for understanding how to
facilitate and differentiate instruction for English language
learners. It is a course that covers the history, laws, research,
methodology, strategies, and rationale of varied ESL programs.

Please register at least two weeks prior to the scheduled session. Programs with fewer than 20 participants registered two weeks prior
to the program date are subject to cancellation. On-site registration is not recommended. You are not guaranteed admittance to a
session if you choose to register on-site. There will be a $10 processing fee for any cancellations prior to the beginning of the workshop.
Refunds will not be given for nonattendance or cancellations received after the session.
Region 4 Education Service Center (Region 4) is accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you have special needs or require special
arrangements in order to participate in a session, please contact Region 4 Registration Services five working days prior to the training
program date (see contact number listed below).
