She started out as a theater major in college but when she switched majors, she still needed a creative outlet. Costuming provided that. Through the years she’s learned and is still learning a lot of techniques in order to bring the costumes and characters she chooses to life. Along with her husband, Zendragon, who has been doing conventions since 2000, the duo pull off some of the best double costume play around. Erin has only been cosplaying for a short time but has found a passion for it. Whether it’s assembling the best pieces for a costume, crafting props herself, or sewing, Erin has found enjoyment in purely making her favorite characters her own. Erin is also obsessed with reading books and comics, although she claims her main fandom is food. Her hopes to produce a Cosplay Cookbook aren’t too far away. Besides representing her own brand, Red Star Cosplay, Erin Lei is also an official Geek Girl and personality for the entertainment site “Project-Nerd.” Chloe Dykstra Chloe Dykstra is a lover of many things including cosplay, make-up, dogs, space, baking and the paranormal, Chloe spends most of her time writing, attempting to make obscure references to failed viral videos, and trash-talking noobs on Xbox Live. Known most for her role in the Syfy original series, Heroes of Cosplay, she also hosts a weekly show called Pizza and Porn, and films her own silly weblog, “Cool Story Chlo” on her Youtube channel. Katie George Katie George (aka: “Katie Cosplay”) has been cosplaying and competing since 2004 and has a BFA in Costume and Makeup Design for theatre/film from Auburn University. In 2012, Katie won the chance to represent the United States in the international World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan. In 2013, she was featured in the Emmy-winning PBS documentary Cosplay: Crafting a Secret Identity. In 2014, Katie joined the Heroes of Cosplay cast for season 1.5 on the SyFy channel.
