Research Interests
My research interests are in combinatorial and geometric group theory. Currently I am working
on symbolic dynamics on groups, growth of groups, and the connections between them.
Publications and Preprints
• Deciding if a right-angled Artin group is free-by-free is NP-complete (with Benjamin Francisco
and Zoran Šunić), in preparation.
• Periodic points on shifts of finite type and commensurability invariants of groups (with Andrew
Penland), New York Journal of Mathematics 21 (2015).
