Job Description:
CG 47 Class Integrated Ship Controls,(Smart-ship) and DDG 51 Class Modernization Senior Ship
Manager Representative responsible for the installation planning, execution, and life cycle management
of the Ship Control Systems on CG 47 Class and DDG 51 Class platforms.
Job Qualifications:




Ten Years (10) years’ waterfront management experience with installation, testing, and in
service support of the CG-47 Class Integrated Ship Controls system and DDG 51 Class
Machinery Control, Electric Plant, Damage Control, Fuel Control, and Integrated Bridge
Navigation Systems.
Working knowledge of:
o DDG 51 core alterations and upgrades, associated systems and logistical support to
include but not limited to combat systems, mechanical and electrical, fuel control and all
support systems.
o CG 47 Smart-ship alterations and upgrades, associated systems and logistical support to
include but not limited to combat systems, mechanical and electrical, fuel control and all
support systems.
o Impacting alterations during CNO availabilities.
o Surface Combatant’s lifecycle support processes.
o Procedures, processes, and policies established within the Ship Control Systems Program.
o Responsibilities of the Hull and Project Managers during CNO availabilities.
o Responsibilities of the Port Engineer during CNO availabilities / in service.
o NAVSEA or Planning Yard installation drawings.
o NAVSEA Standard Items.
Develop and implement logical and flexible testing plans to establish a critical path to Light-Off
Assessment (LOA) and Sea-Trials during CNO availabilities.
Develop and implement logical production milestones for ISC and CORE ALTs during CNO
availabilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate
directly with clients and company management.
Proven ability to foster teamwork.
Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Computer programs.
Special Projects as assigned
Travel Requirements:
Willing to travel up to 75% to include OCONUS travel and temporary assignments up to 180
days .
