Allan DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 11 v1 A great and marvelous work © Greater Things 5/1/95 DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 21 v1 Behold, there shall be a record DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 1 v1 Hearken, is about to come forth kept [Omission] among the children of men. among you; O ye people of my church, v2 Behold, I am God: a give heed to my word, b which is quick and powerful, c sharper than a two-edged sword, c to the dividing asunder b of both joints and marrow; a therefore give heed unto my word. v3 Behold, the field is white and in it thou shalt be called a seer, a translator, a prophet, an apostle of Jesus Christ, an elder of the church a saith the voice b of him who dwells on high, b and whose eyes are upon all men; a yea, verily I say: a Hearken d ye people from afar; d and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, a listen together. v2 For verily the voice of the Lord is unto all men, already to harvest; and there is none to escape; • therefore, whoso desireth to reap • let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, • and there is no eye that shall not see, • neither ear that shall not hear, • • neither heart that shall not be penetrated. that he v3 And the rebellious may treasure up for his soul shall be pierced with much sorrow; everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God. a for their iniquities b shall be spoken upon the housetops, a and their secret acts b shall be revealed. v4 Yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle v4 And the voice of warning and reap, shall be unto all people, the same by the mouths of my disciples, is called of God. • through the will of God the Father, • and the grace of your Lord Jesus Christ, a whom I have chosen b in these last days. b v5 And they shall go forth a and none shall stay them, Page 2 DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 11 a v5 Therefore, if you will ask of me b you shall receive; a if you will knock b it shall be opened unto you. v6 Now as you have asked asked, behold, I say unto you, DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 11 v2 Being inspired of the Holy Ghost to lay the foundation thereof, keep my commandments, and seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion Zion. v7 Seek not for riches DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 11 for I the Lord have commanded them. v6 Behold, this is mine authority authority, and the authority of my servants, and my preface unto the book of my commandments, and to build it up which I have given them to publish unto you, O inhabitants of the earth. unto the most holy faith v7 Wherefore, fear and tremble, O ye people, but for wisdom; for what I the Lord have decreed in them and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, shall be fulfilled. and then shall you be made rich. v8 And verily I say unto you, that • they who go forth, • bearing these tidings unto the inhabitants of the earth, Behold, he that hath eternal life to them is power given to seal both on earth and in heaven, is rich. the unbelieving and rebellious; v8 Verily, verily, I say unto you, v9 Yea, verily, to seal them up unto the day when the wrath of God shall be poured out upon the wicked without measure-- • even as you desire of me so it shall be done unto you; • and, if you desire, you shall be the means of doing much good • v10 Unto the day when the Lord shall come to recompense unto every man according to his work, • and measure to every man according to the measure which he has measured in this generation. v9 Say nothing but repentance unto this generation. to his fellow man. v3 Which church was organized and established in the year of your Lord eighteen hundred and thirty, in the fourth month, and on the sixth day of the month which is called April. 2:1-4.] with a mighty blessing blessing, and receive my Spirit and my word, yea, the power of God knowledge unto the convincing of men.
