(ii) While sending the syllabus to paper setter the syllabus prescribed for practical paper should also be sent. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES Candidates are required to attempt one question from the section A,B,C,and D and the entire section E is compulsory. SECTION-A 1. One Drut Khyal in each of the following ragas with alaps and Tanas :Darbari Kanra ,Miyan ki Malhar ,Malkauns, Jounpuri, Jaijaiwanti –20 marks 2. One Vilambit Khyal in any of the raga of the prescribed course with alaps and Tanas – 20 marks 3. Ability to sing any Geet / Sufi Kalam with playing Harmonium5 marks 4. One Tarana with proper style in any of the ragas prescribed in the syllabus 10marks 5. Ability to play Dhamar and Sooltal on Tabla.Demonstration by hand the following taals with Dugun and Chaugun Deepchandi ,Ada chautal ,Jhaptal 10marks 6.
