Alumni Band President 61st Annual Band Day “THE PRIDE OF ARIZONA” presents The Music of DAFT PUNK Tron Legacy Overture Give Life Back to Music Get Lucky Beyond Adagio For Tron End of Line Tron Legacy End Titles The French electronic music duo Daft Punk has been on its own musical journey since its inception in 1987. Their first musical influences were the Beach Boys, Elton John, and the Rolling Stones. As Daft Punk evolved and grew in popularity, their music used more samples and auto-tune. Interestingly, Daft Punk then went exactly the opposite direction and wrote the film score to Tron:Legacy. Their influences for that work include Max Steiner and Philip Glass. “Let the music in tonight Just turn on the music Let the music of your life Give life back to music” The Pride of Arizona invites the audience to take a similar musical and visual journey with us today. You will experience a show that is fun, funky, and powerfully epic, just like the music of Daft Punk. “Beyond dreams Beyond life You will find your song“ Music by Thomas Bangalter & Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo Musical Arrangements by Jay C.
