Montpellier Business School, a member of the Conférence des Grandes
Écoles, is an institution of higher education and research that has grown
since its founding in 1897 to become one of the world’s leading business
schools. In a few figures, Montpellier Business School appears as follows:
• A network of nearly 12,000 alumni throughout the world
• An enrollment of 2,500 in the group’s programs at any one time
• 130 research faculty working at Montpellier Research in Management
• 80 permanent full-time professors
• More than 150 partner universities in 37 countries
• 600 students spending an academic year abroad
• 25% international students on campus
• A Business Club counting among its members 33 major corporate
partners in France and abroad that provide support for the group
Strengths
The internationalism implicit in the mission of Montpellier Business School
is evidenced by its international accreditations. The international dimension
starts on campus, where 1 in 4 students is from outside France, stimulating
continuous cultural exchange. It continues with the requirement that every
student spend an academic year abroad in a partner university or to engage
in one or more international experiences, academic or entrepreneurial.
Moreover, all of the group’s programs may be taken in either French or
English. Additional measures have widened the group’s international
commitment. The establishment of recruitment offices in several countries
stimulates applications from international students interested generally in
studying in Europe and particularly in Montpellier at Montpellier Business
School.
Location
Ideally situated in the heart of a city that hosts one of France’s largest higher
education and research clusters, Montpellier Business School operates on
a shady 18-acre campus in the northeast quadrant of Montpellier.
