English & Math Tutoring
Tulay hires both English and Math tutors to help students achieve
academic success in their courses. Our tutors typically focus on assis$ng
students taking Basic Skills courses (Math 60 and below, English 96 and
below). All of our tutors are current CCSF students so please check in with
Tulay about the tutoring schedule (typically available a=er the second
week of the semester).
Tulay’s computer lab has eight computers and two study tables for you to work
at. Students in English courses can work on Reading Plus hours in our lab. In
addi$on, counselors can sign off on your lab hours if you speak with them in
advance. Tulay also has a private conference room that you can reserve to
work on group projects with your classmates! Stop by today to reserve an hour
or two.
Book Loan
Tulay has established a book loan program to help students manage the costs of being a
student. We have a library of books, especially Math and English books, that students can
borrow for the semester. U$lizing the Tulay book loan program is a great way for students to
save money while a6ending CCSF. Priority for book loan is given to students enrolled in Tulay
English and/or Math courses.
Scholarships
Students enrolled in Tulay Basic Skills courses are eligible to receive up to $1,000 through
the Mosaic scholarship. In addi$on to the Mosaic scholarship, Tulay also has other
scholarship applica$ons from inside and outside of CCSF to offer students. Take advantage
of this free money!
