demanding clientele of dealers, who are supported by
what we call a „Grand Marketing Mix‟. Our product

The Organization
Grand Stores, has expanded and stayed abreast of
competition not by diversifying, but by growing from
within and developing its existing operations in
Wholesale, Retail and Tender business, through our
various departments:

Each of these Departments is headed by a Department
Manager and assisted by Brand Managers / Supervisors
with Sales and Service force wherever required.
Backed by our Marketing Dept., Distribution Centers,
IT, Finance and other back office personnel, our
manpower at present stands at 850 personnel, and
increasing.

With the Head Office in Dubai and branch office in Abu
Dhabi, we have one of the most modern and efficient
office set-ups with a computerized network, linking
office branches and distribution centers. Our flexibility
in generating Financial Statements, Sales and Stock
Reports etc., as and when required, enables us to
monitor operational
proceedings and have effective
management control. Financial and logistical data are
available within arms reach of the Department
Managers and the Top Management. We try to meet
your requirements of tomorrow, today.
Distribution Centers &
We generally adopt the Selective Distribution

Strategy, since we mostly deal with prestigious brands.
Our distribution network of 2000 outlets, including our
own showrooms, are classified as Grade „A‟, „B‟, and
„C‟ based on their business status, pertinent to all our
departments viz;

We have geographically divided the region into two, for
efficiency, which means to us prompt delivery and after
sales support. We have two major Distribution Centers,
with warehousing facilities of 60,000 sq.ft. each at
Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which are fully air-conditioned
and fleets of vehicles that ensure an efficient and
uninterrupted supply. Our center in Dubai takes care of
the dealers in Dubai and Northern Emirates namely
Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm
Al Quwain. While, the one in Abu Dhabi caters to the
needs of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

All Grand Stores showrooms are examples of beautiful
interior decoration, maintaining an identity of it‟s own
among the class of elite shopping alternatives. Our
showrooms aim to make shopping a pleasure to be

changing shopping concepts of a dynamic multinational
population in the U.A.E, made us to advance ourselves

different emirates.
Decoration Cell
The exacting demands and the very high standards of
merchandising that our brands require, have resulted in
our setting up a team of art professionals. This cell is
geared to provide support during the high profile fairs
that are a regular feature now, in addition to the
regular design and display requirements of various
brands, to maintain the corporate identity and synergy
in our showrooms and dealer showrooms.
Sales Personnel
Our sales representatives, all proficient and adept in
their own right, work under the supervision of their
Brand Managers or Supervisors and are based in both
locations. Those in Dubai cover the Dubai, Sharjah and
Northern Emirates and the team in Abu Dhabi, takes
care of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain market.

Marketing Dept
A team of MBAs led by a Marketing Manager and
Marketing Director provides the marketing support to
the various brands that the company manages in
addition to the corporate business marketing efforts.
The Marketing Department monitors market trends,
competitor
currents
activities
and
and
provides
international
customized
marketing
advertising,
promotion and publicity support to the organization.
Grand Stores prides in excellent media relations and PR
with
various
government
&
non-government
organizations.
Human Resource
The Grand Stores family is an assemblage of
Dept & Training
manpower from various nationalities. Constant efforts
are made in upgrading the technical and behavioral
skills of the personnel through in-house and external
training programs.
A broad spectrum of topics are covered at these training
programs,
management
for the different levels of the staff and

Customer
Service
&
Sales
Techniques, Effective Selling Skills, Internal &
External Customer Satisfaction, Time Management, to
Managerial skills. Specific training programs on
products and features are being given to the dealer‟s
staff, with rejuvenating topics covered periodically.

directly to not only the productivity levels but gives us a
very strong competitive advantage.

IT Dept
Grand Stores has a completely computerized set up. The
head office (Dubai), branch office (Abu Dhabi) the
distribution centers and all the showrooms are
connected via WAN (Wide Area Network). These
offices have Intranet facility and are helping the
organization move towards an efficient paperless office.
