FROM THE BOARD ABOUT TECHNOVAS MEDICAL BV
The focus of Technovas Medical BV is to design, develop and
manufacture new medical instruments in collaboration with
surgeons and general practitioners. Technovas Medical
develops prototypes according to the specifications defined by
dentist en dental surgeons. Efficacy and safety of new tools is
thoroughly evaluated by Technovas Medical BV by clinical
studies.
Complicated problems are gradually solved through repeated
cycles of analysis, re-design, computer modeling in
cooperation with the customer. Ultimately, all requirements
and specifications will be translated into an effective solution.
In December 2008 Techovas Medical launched the dental line.
In cooperation with dentists and with a crew of fine
practitioners. Technovas Medical is developing and
manufacturing instruments of high precision and high quality
level.

ORDER INFORMATION
Technovas Medical instruments have to be ordered via an
authorized dental dealer. Your dental dealer will take your
order and delivers the product to you.
Custom made instruments
Technovas Medical will offer opportunities to adapt the range
of instruments to customer requirements. Specific instruments
or specific/alternative versions of instruments are available on
request.

CARE FOR INSTRUMENTS
Stainless steel will discolor and corrode when
exposed to other than recommended chemicals.
Stainless steel is not allowed to be exposed
to the following chemicals:
•Sodium Hypochlorite;
•Tartaric Acid;
•Aluminium Chloride;
•Barium Chloride;
•Bichloride of Mercury;
•Calium Chloride;
•Carbolic Acid;
•Chlorinated Lime;
•Citric Acid;
•Dakin’s solutions;
•Ferrous Chloride;
•Lysol;
•Mercuric Chloride;
•Mercury Salts;
•Phenol;
•Potassium Permanganate;
•Potassium Thiocyanate of Stannous Chloride.
The following chemicals should NEVER be used together with
stainless steel:
Aqua Regia;
Ferric Chloride;
Sulfuric Aid or Lodine
All hinged instruments are better kept lubricated in order to
prevent rust and corrosion. Lubrication will also ensure smooth
use.
All instruments need te be cleaned and fully dried before they
will be sterilized. Ultrasonic cleaning and cleaning in an
automatic washing machine is prefered above cleaning by
hand. Please note that not all instruments are compatible with
automatic washing machines. Please do study the automatic
washing machine instruction guide thoroughly for detailed
information before cleaning.
Heat sterilization methods:
Steam autoclave (20 minutes at 250˚F/121˚C, 15 psi);
Unsaturated chemical vapor (20 minutes at 270˚F, 132˚C, 2040 psi);
Dry heat oven (60-120 minutes at 320˚F/160˚C);
Rapid dry heat transfer (12 minutes for wrapped items and 6
minutes for unwrapped items at 350˚F/177˚C).
All Technovas Medical instruments are easy to sharpen and are
fully corrosion resistant.
RETIP/REPOINT
Technovas Medical does not retip or repoint instruments.
Retipping/repointing would disturb the construction of the
instrument; this would affect the high quality of the Technovas
products.
GUARANTEE
Technovas Medical instruments are guaranteed against any
material and workmanship defect, for a period of two years.
Recommended cleaning, sterilization and lubrication will help
to ensure the best product performance.
Technovas Medical is not responsible for any defects of
instruments that have been modified, retipped or refitted in
any way.
Improper use or insufficient care and maintenance will void
warranty claims.
